You still may want to check on ebay for the fans. I purchased mine from that store through ebay (not from their site directly) and the price was much cheaper. The price of the fans were the same however there was a big difference in the shipping cost. At the time I purchased, the shipping cost through ebay was $4.50 yet if purchased from their website it would have been over $10.

Has anyone out there got any good LOT numbers from the UK? I was hoping that someone may have seen some good Elite ones. Where are Game at? I expect they shift loads, and their bundles are pretty good. the games they throw in are not the best, but they also have an extra controller, which is a must have for me.

I know what is gonna happen. I will still be waiting for it in 3 months time and Sony will announce a price cut for the PS3. This will prompt the rumours of an Xbox price cut too, which will probably be in the back of my mind. Therefore the Elites will be out with Jasper inside, but I'll be sat on my backside while I wait for a price cut on the 360.

Has anyone got any reliable contacts in Game?

Yeah i bought them from there ebay store. it was $4.50 for shipping.

After lotsa readin I decided to join the thread as well... jasperhunting from Sweden and it feels like I'm far ways off

The Elite bundle at Mediamarkt (with lego and indy i think it was) was at lot 0838x I think (might've been 0840x)..

At which lot number is it expected for the Elites to be Jasper? I guess I'm still 2 months away.. sigh

The jasper Elites are a good way off. I honestly expect that you will need a LOT nearer to 851 or 852. If I were to stick my neck out, then I would suggest looking for one that starts with a 9 eg 901 onwards. I'm looking too, they just are not showing up yet. Even the Pros are in short supply. As far as I know I have seen the highest Elite LOTs number yet. they were all 846x FDOU, and all were Falcons. I have seen a couple of Jasper Arcades though. LOT 842 FDOU. The bad news is that they canb still die, they just are far less prone to doing it. But hey, we all knew that before they even showed up. The sound has been described as anything from silent to as loud as before. The truth is that Microsoft seems to throw out different fans and DVD drives. This makes things even more frustrating.

My own opinion on the red Xbox is that they will be the 60GB versions at best. I can't see them whacking in the 120GB drive. Previous special editions have always had the same specification as the middle SKU. An Elite price would surely scare most people off buying one. But a special edition priced around the Pro price (likely slightly higher due to the bundled game) would be far more palletable.

Hey everyone-I haven't posted here in a while and I see a lot has been said since then. Can anyone tell me if there have been any Elite Jasper sightings yet? I was planning on checking Best Buy today since the last time I went there was only one Elite left on the shelves (manufactured in June of last year) and was hoping that Jaspers would show up in the new inventory...

Went to Best Buy today; only 3 Elites left, and all of them have a manufactured date of APRIL 2008 :S
The ones that I saw before were lot 0843, non-Jasper.

My only hope now is that when they re-stock I'll find a Jasper... if not, I'm ready to go the Arcade+120Gb way.

picked up a jasper arcade from circuit city for 160 + tax. it was great. manufactured november 2008.

As far as I know, they don't. Can't remember what benefits it offers, but it would have been nice to have it.

Went into town today looking to see if it would be much cheaper to buy an Arcade Jasper and then add the 120GB HDD. It would be more expensive so I am gonna have to wait for the Elite Jasper. Not that I expect to see them until nearer March or even April. I have checked some more 846x Elites and they are still Falcon. So gonna have to wait until I see a higher LOT number. Has anyone else seen any newer than 846?

I got a Jasper Arcade from Dell a few weeks ago. The Delta fans are fairly quiet but the Lite-on DVD drive is surprisingly loud.

Yes my DVD drive sounds like it going to take off.Not to bad that you can run games from the HD but what about watching a DVD?

I guess people missed this on the last page:

"Do any of you know of any instances of Jasper failure? I've seen a video of an alleged Jasper getting the RRoD, but outside of that and an anecdote that wasn't elaborated upon, I haven't heard anything."

If I decide to get another console, this may be a make-or-break (relevance of the latter word intended) issue. Also, does anyone know how the E-## errors that brick the consoles are correlated to the same issues that cause RRoD and/or how said errors relate to newer 360s, including the Jasper?

I realize there aren't hard statistics out yet for the Jasper, but anecdotes and more informed opinions are fine by me for my purposes.

denis74, while that is great news, i highly doubt that unless i can see some pictures.
I live in New York and go to several stores by me that constantly update their stock and the latest lot number from any model, even the arcades that i have seen is no where near 902.
So to have them up to 902 i just cant fathom, but i would love to see the pics of it if u can get your hands on them.

Also, i am still looking for a jasper pro with the 150 power brick. Anyone that has that please can you tell me what lot # starts the 150power brick because a lot of the jaspers still use the old power brick. thanks

Hi all I'm new here. Less than two weeks I'll be getting a 360 pro and I want to make sure I can get a jasper.

I've been searching around and it seems like the lot #845 is a jasper pro. Does anybody know if lot# 845 is the latest for pro jasper.

I'm asking cause the day of when I get the 360 I'll be driving all around to find lot# 845 then buy it. So my question is there lot# higher than 845 for the pro 360's ? by the way I live in Ohio. thanks

Hell I hope this is true. I expected the Elite Jaspers to be nearer to the 901 or 902 mark. Got my fingers crossed. Can you get any pictures?

Hi davv, im pretty sure all the jaspers are the same, except for the power brick, which, most people dont care about about (i do though, but for no reason really).
I dont know if 845 is ALL Jasper, just make sure u check the voltage is 12.1

Store: Saturn

Arcade: all LOT 848 and 12.1A
Pro: all LOT 842 and 14.2A
Elites: all repacked LOT 902 ADUE on the Sticker and LOT 824 on the XBox itself 14.2A

So it seems the the Repackteams are clearing the Stock. The Elites are quite old (824) but they are repacked a few weeks ago. I hope these will be the last ones.

Repacks? Ugh, just makes it even harder to find that Elite Jasper. I'm going to hold out for that, but I'd love to get on HDMI sooner rather than later... The 360 is my last component video device!
