as long as SCEI still makes gran turismo, i won't buy any other system other than a PS.

I still have a pile of unplayed PS1, PS2 and PC games to work through, so I'm in no hurry for next-gens.

I'm more eager for Blu-ray since I'll be replacing my 9-year-old 4:3 JVC 32" with a widescreen HDTV soon.

And gameplay is more important to me than polygon count, I'm currently playing the Urban Chaos mod for the 1999 game Jagged Alliance 2. Next up is either Freedom Force on the PC or one of the Final Fantasy games on the PS2.

PC Gamer couldn't put it any better (I can't remember the exact words): At E3 we saw the next gen consoles that offer high resolutions only on HDTV displays that cost several Ks, and internet and multimedia capabilities that were available on the PC since the 1990s.

PS2 had much better games than X-Box. I considered X-Box to be the posterchild of the person without an attention span, with the system focusing mainly on basic shoot-em-ups, driving, or sports. If only more people would give RPGs a shot in America, so that so many good Japanese games are actually translated to English.
Although the 360 has had famed RPG designers and composers* sign up for exclusive games. Time will tell whether I decide to buy it...

I played the demo in the store..and while it was only a few games..and really cant be judged off of just that..i was on the whole unimpressed. I love my PC and honestly I dont play my XBox ever...and even then just for DDR and the occasional Halo 1. I thought i was going to get a ps3 but really..i doubt i am going to get either..its not worth the money. The only way i see myself getting on in the future is if one of them fully supports the mouse and keyboard.

That all being said..if i buy any..it will be after they ALL come out so i can make smart decision.
