Any of you have your Xbox connected to your Computer monitor? I just got this cool HD wide monitor, and I can figure out how i would get the video, but where do i connect the sound from the Xbox? Can i connect it directly into my computer?
What cables are you using? If its the component one then you're gonna probably have to buy an adapter unless your computer has optical or RCA in. If you're using the VGA cable, I was thinking that it comes with a cable to plug into your computer, although I'm not really sure.
Xbox-360 and original Xbox use Component out right?
My Monitor has the following inputs. Pic
When it comes to sound on the motherboard it has the following.
# Audio (4 x Line-out/ 1 x Line-in/ 1 x MIC) connector
# Coaxial S/PDIF input/ output function
Might help to know what kind of monitor But it looks like component in, so you should be good to go

Yes. Make sure you have the HD cables/pack for the 360/Xbox.
yeah, i'm looking for that adapter for original Xbox, I want to see how it looks like before I jump the gun and buy the 360. I have Halo 2, that should be a good example right?
