Well I got up about 30 minutes early so I could download it and try it out.
I must say that with these extra 5 months of a wait due to them fixing the lag in the online play, I must say I am HUGELY disappointed. The game lags to all hell online and there is a delay with the button push to the reaction on screen. And as we all know, timing is everything in SF2. So this hugely screws up the matches.
You can tell when your opponent or yourself screws up just because of the lag. I will hit guys with fireballs dead on because when they tried to block it just didn't block in time.
Disappointed I tell ya, disappointed. I only played 3 online opponents but I am going to give it a huge go tonight. Hopefully others get some better online games than I did.
QFT on all accounts. I also downloaded the game this morning, but didn't hop online yet. I'm already come to terms that I'll get beat down....a lot.....but I don't mind. If I'm playing with someone with a good attitude, it doesn't bother me. There was a game released on the original XBOX or PS2 that was a fighter that was the first to go online, and within a couple of days, I had something like a 4-40 record . Good fun, and I'll give somebody a lot of wins [because I suck] if they aren't cocky about beating me.Originally posted by: Queasy
I got the game this morning. I didn't try out the online portion because...well, I haven't played SFII in like 10 years and that was in the arcade. I love the 360 controller but it is clunky with SFII.
I don't know if it is me, the game, or the controller right now but I suck.

I played about 10 more matches during lunch (I'm finally starting to win with Chun-Li now that I can remember moves). I have yet to see any slow down during off-line play.Originally posted by: UpgradeFailure

I also suck so far. I haven't tried online but what the hell is with the SLOW DOWN during 1 player? Did anyone else notice this? Fvck, after 5+ months of waiting extra for this, it's a huge let down to me. I am not looking forward to the online lag purbeast was talking about...yikes.
If you go into the Help/How To Play in the pause menu, all the moves are listed after you hit A a couple of times to get past the first couple of screens.Originally posted by: UTmtnbiker
I suggest we start posting moves as they are discoved.

no SF2 as of now and it's about 12:50 EST. I think it's gonna come out 3AM my time, I'll have to wait till I get up tomorrow or after work.
ANyways I have a question that I just have no clue the answer to ...
Why is it that EVERY SINGLE xbox360 game has noticeable tearing in the graphics, yet I can't think of 1 single xbox1 game that had noticeable tearing? Is it just very lazy and crappy programming? It is really starting to just piss me off when I see it in every new game and every trailer I watch.

I have never noticed any tearing when playing games. What type of TV do you have? HDTV or SDTV?

so you are telling me there is no tearing in your saints row demo, at the opening cut scene?
if you can't see tearing you just must not know what it is. i have the eye for it. there is even tearing on the dead rising trailer that was released like 2 days ago.

Gears of War Dated for November 12th. This game looks good, but I think I'll probably hold off on it for a month or two after it comes out because I'll still be playing Splinter Cell.
