it's not machine specific, people just don't notice it i guess. i notice things like that heh.

man i'm having a blast with sf2 now the lag is hit or miss. sometimes it feels like they are right next to you in the same room, sometime it's unplayable.

the one gripe i have is that people can quit and it doesn't count as a loss. it happens somewhat often in ranked matches when i win and the person will quit before the match is "officially" over, so he doesnt have a loss on his record ...

it's pathetic how many people care about that ******.

No red lights or anything, it just totally locks up... about 5 minutes in when I'm starting the pimp missions

The video looks OK, but this really seems like the type of game that will be a lot of fun for an hour, but then get old real fast. Likely must also be played in multiplayer for full enjoyment.

Agreed. I watched some of the HD videos over at IGN (I'm a subscriber), and it looked incredibly boring. Just running around grabbing any items that's lying around and knocking out zombie after zombie. Although I'll be honest, I know nothing else about the game other than the videos I saw.

I haven't pre-ordered it, though, because I can see a real possibility that you're right and it would quickly get old. I am looking forward to checking out the demo in any case.

I played it back in November in Zero Hour and wasn't impressed. However it looks a lot different now. All of my friends who have played it thus far just keep on saying how much fun it is and that they will probabl be buying it. I won't be able to try it till tonight either.

How long did they play though? This game strikes me as the type that if you just picked it up and played it for a few minutes it would leave you with a very good impression: "Wow! Did you see what I did to that zombie with the golf club?!". Then when you are on your 500th zombie you'll be saying, "Is this all there is?".

I tried it out during lunch and it was pretty fun. Judging by the opening of the demo and the "webisodes" it looks like there's a pretty entertaining plot with it too. The only downside was that I didn't exactly know what the hell it was I was doing. LOL But that's partially my fault for trying to rush through it before my wife got back home with my 4-year old (zombies scare him).

I just found out about Dead Rising recently, and it may push me over the edge to finally buying a 360. The game just looks like too much damn fun to pass up.

There is definitely some tearing with the Saint's Row demo. I think it is something with the demo because I've never seen that with any other 360 game yet.

I've never played any of the GTA's so this is new to me.

I can see how you are having a fun time, then . GTA3 was amazing back in the day, and to get your first crack at this type of gameplay with all the improvements since GTA3, I'll bet you're having a blast.

I'm still downloading the Dead Rising demo, it's taking quite some time.

Agreed... Unless there's a whole lot more to the retail, this game isn't even worth a rent IMHO.

Yeah, I don't get how this day and age a game could be so shallow and hollow. For all of the hype, it's pretty disappointing
