Nevermind, found the details on the new demo:

Atari revealed a short while ago that the second demo to their upcoming MMORacer will be available tomorrow. Earlier this week we reported a schedule containing dates of demos and trailers to be released onto the marketplace. So far it seems roughly accurate, could we really see a Forza demo?

The new demo will be released Thursday August 24th 2006 featuring stunning new vehicles, new challenges, longer play time and a host of other enhancements.

With the new demo allowing up to one hour of play in a 60km² area of the graphically polished and geographically accurate Hawaiian island of Oahu, players will have time to discover a stunning new house, three delicious new super cars ? the Ferrari F430, Ford Mustang GT and AC Cobra ? and one brutally powerful motorbike, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Players can choose to accept one of the four new offline challenges, take on either of the two new online challenges with up to eight players racing simultaneously, launch instant challenges against anyone they encounter on the road, or just burn gallons of virtual gasoline tearing around the lush tropical roads in free ride. Other enhancements include tighter handling, snappy gear changes, customizable speed blur effects, optional in-car camera vibrations, improved lag allowing eight player online races, fully operational vsync, an incredible level of overall graphical polish, and much more.

Just Cause is ok but you can see the PS2/Xbox roots. The game feels sloppy, the vehicles and enemies are low poly, the shadows are not so hot and the feel of the vehicles need some work. The environments don't look so bad though considering its really an updated xbox game. It needs some work but I could see myself getting the game for 30 bucks or less. Too bad its not an original 360 game. The game does look much better than the sloppy pc port of the game.

God, I hope so. I assume the physics still suck, though. Also, that is, so far, the one game that crashes my console (not sure why, since it doesn't look good and shouldn't be pushing the hardware very hard).

I never tried the original demo so I can't comment on that. I heard about the complaints with the car handling for the old demo. It was OK with what I tried during when I tooled around in the Mustang today with the new demo. Over at the TXB forums, alot of people were complaining about the handling of the motorcycle though.

I was going to try out the multiplayer portion tonight but the wife wants to watch a movie so...

My 360 broke about a week before the warranty (MS extended launch warranties by 90 extra days, and it was at about the 170th day I owned it) as soon as I downloaded the Burnout Revenge update that was put out. Hmm...strange. My system works fine all of a sudden. We'll see how it goes the next few days. The one thing I noticed is that when I only have one wireless controller connected, the green quadrants around the power button will go back and forth between the upper left and upper right lights....just rotating between controller 1 and 2 even though my controller is set on upper left for controller 1. I never lose connection to the system either. Very strange indeed, but at least my system is working...for now.

I downloaded the dead rising demo and LOVED it. So I went out and grabbed a retail copy. All I can say is, this is the first game I have actually been addicted to in a couple of years. This game rocks! (Except for Otis who keeps calling me when I am trying to kill a boss!)

I'll pwn ya on that bike.. turn driving assists off and turn sesnitivity to max it becomes much easier to drive than the cars..

how can activision release not just one, but TWO crappy demos of the same game! releasing these demos is going to sway people away from the damn game.

i haven't heard one person say they enjoy any of the TDU demos, but before any demos came out, people were psyched about it. they should have focused their time on making a better game than makine 2 demos. even at the $40 price tag i do not think it will sell well.

oh and just cause is a lost cause.

there are TONS of people Loving the game..
including myself..
Ive been on 4 different game boards today and they are overwhelmingly positive reviews..
Solid netcode..
beautiful grafics..
solid fun racing..
first game ever where you can literally have a virtual car club

this demo is fantastic.. lightyears ahead of the other demo and right now ahead of any other driving game.. its not a SIM it never was supposed to be.. its in the same class with NFS but it takes it to another level..

I've read that there is a bug in the game that if everyone goes all in pre-flop everyone wins, and the person who actually has the best hand wins even more.

And some other problems...

Also, SNK Fatal Fury Special is coming to xbox live.

I will start being more specific around here from this point on I guess. I don't want to pay $50. I found a $35 deal on a year at amazon so I will probably buy that unless I can find some of the clearance packs at Target that are going for dirt cheap.
