Microsoft announced today that ?Assault Heroes?, a vehicular combat action game developed specifically for Xbox Live Arcade will arrive this Wednesday. The game will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 beginning Wednesday, December 13, after 0800 GMT (1:00 a.m. PST).

As the only surviving members of an elite Special Forces unit, it is up to you to find the secret underground lab. Go the mission alone or fight side-by-side with a friend in the two-player cooperative mode. Yeah I still couldn't hear you. It's really frustrating. The other problem I am seeing is that when I go to someone's profile, and hit "Join Session in Progress" to join up with them, I sometimes get put into a COMPLETELY different game that that person is not in. Even with the server browser, I join a game that is in the lobby with 13/14 people and I end up in a game that is like 2vs2????????????/

I hope they hurry up and fix these problems..

Sorry about the other night, I wasn't paying complete attention as I was playing. I have been dealing with a problem with the cable company and I was playing between conversations on the phone. I was playing horribly because of it also, but I took care of the problem

oh, and to answer your question, other people do hear me, but not everyone. I almost always have the problem in game where I can hear one side of a conversation between 2 people.

I am also sick of losing points because of "Player Idle" when I have 25 kills in team sharpshooter........................

Played a bit of Assault Hereos tonight, and I think I may buy the full version. Seems very much worth the $10. Reminds me of an updated Jackal from the NES, which is a great thing. LOTS of great memories playing that game over and over with my brother, although it was hard as hell when we were kids, and I don't think we ever actually beat it without the help of our Game Genie .

You're missing out buddy - the roomie and I haven't even touched GoW or SC or any other game since we've gotten R6. We're making plans to buy another 360 and a HD ready TV and another copy of R6 just because we love it so much.

Can you go into your Xbox and go to network settings and test your connection? I want to see what it says under NAT after you run the test. I have been told that is what is keeping you from hearing others sometimes. just wondering if that is true. It needs to say "open" supposedly. I checked and mine does. It seems like you can hear the host but almost no one else.. and only the host can hear you.

Good games tonight man, you really kicked my ass on calypso that last time those jamaican dudes were hilarious..

I'll have to check when the roomie's done playing. Good games too man...it's nice having a buddy who doesn't SUCK ASS. Dear god...on those first maps after I switched teams to against the Jamaicans...that was TERRIBLE. We had a guy with 0 kills, 12 deaths. They really weren't all that great, just had a terrible team. Well ok maybe I'm exaggerating, they're good, but not as great as their rankings show. But yea, they were hilarious. They kept on complaining "Maaaaaaaahn, that bucwylde is taking my gun, mah Mtar, I kill that fool"...it was hilarious.

I'll be on tomorrow night, gf outta town, nice quiet night alone with the XBox.

Fvck! Meant to get into work early today...woke up an hour before my usual time...ended up messing around with the XBox + routers for over an hour We have 2 - one supplied by Verizon for our FIOS, (wired) and wireless one. I assumed it was the wireless (360 wired to that one) - turned off firewall, UPnP, put 360 in DMZ, etc etc...still got STRICT for my NAT. Figured it was that crappy DI-604 but couldn't really adjust any settings. Long story short, I crapped out our network by turning off DHCP, did a hard reset on the wireless, did a test, and booyah, NAT now says open.

If you're on tonight we'll test it out.

Hey..that Assault Heroes games on xbox live arcade is pretty good! The scrolling is too slow but it has that old school arcade feel to it and it looks nice. Its sorta like Jackal in a way. Its pretty refreshing seeing some non-early 80's games like that and Small Arms coming out on live arcade.


I've been playing Gears of War on Insane with my brother and my god.. I HATE those damn screaming exploding wretches in act 3! oy!

My launch day 360 just crapped out on me... No red lights or anything, but when playing a game it will just lock up and the screen goes all goofy (pixelated, lines all across it, etc.) still plays DVD's fine, and can play Live Arcade, but it seems like it's overheating or something when the real 3D kicks in...

Went to Walmart and bought one of those "Nyko Intercoolers" and plugged it in the back... it will play for 3-4 minutes and then it does the same thing... so - better then it was, but still crapping out...

I wonder if it's just a dusty fan or something inside that's clogged up or something? The thing is out of warranty anyway - anyone know if it's hard to open one of these bad boys up?
