Other Microsoft executives have said the same thing. Their plan is weekly shipments, the execution of which is what is yet to be seen.

As for the stores saying February or March, they're doing that to cover their asses cause they don't know how many they will get and how soon for sure, so they just make up a date a long time away so that if more come in people will be happy instead of rioting if they tell them next week or the week after and then don't get any.

Where did I say his title was misleading? How about you quit making assumptions. 90% of the ATOT population is US (the site itself also). I pointed out the fact that it does not include the U.S.

From many articles, it has been said that Microsoft hopes to sell 3,000,000 in first three months. Estimates by analysts is that half that number were available for launch. The remainder will be made available now through end of January. I would not be surprised to see some stores getting stock before Christmas, but there is no way to know which stores will get stock nor at what times stores will get stock.

I have an hp l2334 23" lcd which im gonna use when i purchase my xbox come dec (2nd shipment). Ill be using the built in component input to hook it up. Anyone else out there have this setup? Just wondering what its gonna look like come december. I know it looks good with the dell 24" screen which ill probably purchase for my dualmonitor setup whenegver they have another deal. If anyone has the xbox setup on an l2335 can you please post yoru thoughts on it? Thank in advance. Oh yeah. Does anyone else think 1yr after the xbox is too long for sony? The way i see it while sony is finalizing the ps3 design, ms is already 1 yr into the next console. Anyway, i should probably save taht for another posst . Thank again eveyone.

I got my wireless game adapter in the mail today, and I plan to check the arcade first, because I still haven't gotten my copy of Madden. I'm hoping that they have something for the little kids, because so far they've been left out.

Couldn't help myself.

Try out google or Microsoft support. And this is a hardware issue, so don't expect an easy fix. You'll need to wait for a patch or SP1 as others have joked. They'll have to underclock and/or reduce the voltage to resolve PSU issues. How could they have messed that up?

I figured as much, but since they are toting this as more than just a video game, I was hoping. 5 year olds want to play games too, and racing games just piss them off.

Some crashes are seemingly caused by an overheating power brick. Try ventilating the brick a little better, i.e. not setting it on carpet, even suspending it in the air somehow. The power brick has 2 small fans housed in it, but even that's not enough if you're blocking air flow or causing heat to build up.

Actually, I think the Live Arcade is going to be great for kids. It's been fun getting my 3 1/2 year old to play games like Geometry Wars and Joust. He's not good mind you but these are the simple kind of games that kids can enjoy.

As for actual bought in the store titles, no not alot of kid friendly titles. And the ones that do try to be kid friendly pretty much stink.

I finally locked my system up last night while playing PGR3 online. I think there are still some kinks to be worked out between the game software and system OS. Granted, I was almost purposefully trying to crash it/lock it up by opening and closing gamer profiles from inside the PGR3 lobby as fast as I could but it still locked up on me.
