yeah, my local compUSA has a bunch of those, for a split second I though they were the real thing, but then I figured there is no way 15 of them would just be sitting there like that.

Yah I'm thinking of getting the OXM disc today and trying the method to just load the burnt copy of the demo disc. it seems like it could be real. so far I haven't heard anyone confirm/deny it yet either.

someone 'leaked' some info about some shipments that BB will receive on 12/18/05...

check out the chubby wallet site... two stores near me will have 28 and 30 acording to this...

Actually from what I've seen from some personal encounters, what they saw of the launch went over well. While this maybe isolated encounters I'm not so sure the verdict is out as of yet.[/quote]

In North America and Europe, Microsoft's Xbox 360 sold out in most retail locations within hours of going on sale. In Japan, though, it was a different story, as there were still plenty of consoles on shelves throughout its debut weekend.

Not surprised. Alot of motivation to pick up a 360 for Japanese gamers went to the wayside when DOA4, Enchant-arm, and Ninety-nine nights all got delayed. This dropped the Japanese release launch to like 6 titles.

Maybe things will pickup when these games and some other Japanese developed games start getting released....or maybe not.

I'm contemplating camping out Saturday night to buy a 360 Sunday morning. The problem is I have a dinner reservation at a resataurant at 7:00 PM Saturday night. The restaurant is right down the block from the Best Buy. The store is getting 32 systems but do you guys think getting on line around 9:00 PM the night before is too late to be able to get a system?

why don't you just go check out the line after dinner, if there are 32 people in line, then go home.

Rent them and try them out before you buy? I wish they'd get more demos up for us to download. Seems like they've only got some EA Games and Kameo on there so far.

I've been playing COD2 after renting it and have been enjoying it immensely. I thought I wouldn't since I'm getting tired of WWII shooters but it is hella fun. GUN looks interesting but I'm not sure it is worth $60.

Just got my OXM. The Disc this month has some cool demos on it for the 360. One in particular from Sega, Full Auto, definitely try that one out.

I have a feeling OXM is a loss leader anyways...or operating on razor thin profits. Most magazines and newspapres are nowadays.
