heh the game is absolutely horrible. i had a chance to play it, and trust me, its just all around bad. it looks like a ps2 game (which it obviousy is a port of), but the graphics and stuff were just pathetic, and the gameplay is just horrible.

Hmm, may save me some time. I have a subscription so I'll probably try it out. Wonder how much better the graphics will be with HD.

Supposedly, it is a direct port of the PC version. So, it "should" be on par with those graphics. IGN did a mini-review of it a week or two ago and they were really frustrated with the interface because they had to go through Square's long signing up process which is bad when you are using a controller to enter text.

Tip for those that don't know - You can hookup a USB keyboard to the 360 to enter text. It can't be used to play games though.

Think this game will be worth it? I'm certainly looking forward to the Elder Scrolls IV, actually would have been the first game on my list if it was released at launch.

It's being made by the father of the Final Fantasy games if that'll give you an idea of what kind of game it will be. Definitely a Japanese style RPG. I'm keeping my eye on it. I don't think it is supposed to be released until later next year though.

Yeah, I tried calling but they didn't know anything about another shipment. She did tell me that she thinks 360s come in by UPS (not normal trucks) and the store here gets UPS shipments at 7 and 10am.

Just saw on the news about an ebay user getting scammed.

The scammer specifically did state in his description that it's for a photo of the x360. It included: "bid on this photo of the xbox 360"... well the bidder decided to double-check via email... the seller responded saying he shouldn't have used the word "photo" and made it seem like the real thing (they showed his response wording on tv). The bidder ended up winning and received - a photo. Well FoxNews put her on tv with this story and J&R Music World had one saved "for the owner's son" but decided to give it to this lady who got scammed. Score for her... sorta.

I guess those scammers aren't just tricky with their wording... they'll straight-up lie to you when asked a straight up question.

Live Gold is $50 for 12+1 months of service. It allows you to play online games whereas Silver only allows you to download content. If you want to play online, you need Gold.

aaah gotcha. most people will sign up for the 1 year subscription which is $50/year, which is way WAY worth it
