I don't care to much for Condemmed either. PDZ single player is trash too. Microsoft must have paid some serious bribe money for the reviews on that one. You can't give a game a score of 8 or 9 just because of the multi.
I caved yesterday, and got xbox live for a year. I tried playing DOA4 and I hated how they did it. You get thrown into a cue, and have to watch until it's your turn. It took about 15 minutes until I got to play! I need to read the directions to see if there is a way to speed that up.Originally posted by: purbeast0
Well I just caved and got DOA4 from Best Buy ... only cost me $2.49 out my pocket
$62.49 (after taxes) - $50 gift card - $10 off coupon = $2.49 cash out the door!
I gotta put a few games on the FS/FT thread though as well. Anyone interested in PDZ ? I'd trade it for a memory card.
Yeah, I don't mind PDZ either. The story was pretty ridiculous, and overall it was too linear, but I definitely wouldn't call it "trash". I enjoyed playing it through. The co-op is very good, though.Originally posted by: jlmadyson
Don't know I actualy like PDZ single player. The initial settings are too easy but after that it starts to get more challenging and now on perfect agent I'm having a hell of time. Has kind of grown on me, but probably not a game for everyone.Originally posted by: NorthRiver

Don't need to wait for the demo. Cod2 is the best launch game. I have Cameo, PGR3, PDZ, and CoD2, and COD2 blows them all away.
5/5 Ramma2 Stars!

I agree, first game I bought actually.
Some updates on the FFXI demo. It was a pain to setup as I stated before almost 4 hours. The graphics are mediocre so far but to be expected somewhat, and it will take awhile to get used to the controls and menus. The text on some if this is a bit small, but I believe they can easily work out the issues on it. Keyboard and mouse support will almost be a must for this game which I believe you will be able to use in the full version but don?t think you can use either for the beta but may be wrong. Going to explore some and see what I can make of the game.

Did you do the setup completely using the joystick? You can plug in a USB keyboard to the 360 to help type in text.
Earlier comments about launching against PlayStation 3 are retracted by MS chairman
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates has admitted he doesn't have any idea when Halo 3 will be released, saying that the launch date of the game is up to Bungie and recanting his earlier claim that it will arrive to spoil the launch of the PS3.
Gates had previously commented that Sony would "walk right into Halo 3" when they launched PlayStation 3, drawing a lot of attention in the process. Former Xbox chief Robbie Bach had later claimed his comments were more "philosophical" in nature, but now it seems we have the real answer: it was "speculation", judging by Gates' reaction to the question posed by technology blog Engadget during the Consumer Electronics Show.

Halo 3 will ship when Bungie is ready, says Gates
They're trickling into all the stores, and you can get them without a bundle... But yeah, they certainly aren't widely available. If I had to guess, I'd say about the middle of February until that happens.Originally posted by: Jnetty99
Its almost 2 months since the Xbox 360 release and still not widely available... and when it is you can only get it as a bundle...
By what month do you think you will see a surplus in stores?

Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, etc seem to be getting them weekly now. They're just gone really really quick.
Someone from MS at CES mentioned that they are going to have their new manufacturing partner up and running in February. So, I would guess sometime after then.

Microsoft featured at its booth a hands-on demonstration of SiN Episodes, the episodic sequel to the eight-year-old futuristic PC shooter SiN. The first episode, Emergence, will be available this spring, with additional episodes coming out every few months. Each episode is expected to cost between $15 and $20 and will provide approximately four to six hours of game content. SiN Episodes uses the Source engine with Havok physics, so objects and bodies will fly and fall realistically. The games feature a dynamic difficulty system that Microsoft claims can adapt to gamers' play styles and skill levels. Microsoft is planning to release SiN Episodes on Xbox Live Marketplace as well later this year, for use on the Xbox 360.

There's an interview on Gamespot where the developer confirms this, they're looking at the Xbox marketplace thing.
