However, recent studies have shown that, at least for the foreseeable future everything should be fine. DVD-9 has 9GB storage capacity and the average game on the XBox used around a third of this storage capacity. Xbox 360 games have so far used only 50% at the most still leaving some room for increase.
This is a disingenuous analysis. The games that have the highest storage space requirements are RPGs. Other games like a racing game, a fighter, or even a platform game will always have modest requirements. Once an RPG with HD cinema scenes comes out, 9GB will feel constraining.

I read the Oblivion will only be one disc... and it looks like it would take up a lot of space.

I'm still waiting for that day, when you don't see stupid Xbox360 bundles only for $1000, but when i can just walk in BB or CC and buy a $400 system...
Come on Microsoft... help the poor out.

You can do that now. Walmart and BB have been getting shipments.

My friend picked one up last week from BB... Shipments are coming in regularly, but they don't last long, as demand is still higher than supply.

You should be able to pickup 360's by next month or so. Stores around my area have been getting them at random dates, but they usually sellout fast because of people trying to get a profit out of them.

Halo 2 is still a lame game. Also, the reason it looks outstanding is because the anti-aliasing is much better on the 360. Put in any decent game and it should look better on the 360. I played SSX 3 and it looked great...although there were times where it seemed to skip (stall, pause, whatever) for about 1/5 of a second. Doesn't affect game play but irritating because it does do that. Anyone else have that problem with emulating old Xbox games?

There are all sorts of little issues with emulation. It seems to me that I've heard something about every single game. I'm not sure if there are any Xbox games that run 100% perfect on the 360.

Best Buy is receiving Xbox 360's via UPS now. What does that mean for those of us who work normal M-F jobs? GL getting one. They open up later than most of our start times and by the time lunch hits they're gone. Oh well. Working people ain't supposed to play kid video games, eh?

Big publishers embrace Xbox Live Arcade, promise original titles
Larry Hryb, Xbox Live Director of Programming, interviewed Greg Canessa, the general manager of Xbox Live Arcade for his regular podcast. The two spent a good deal of time discussing Xbox Live Arcade, during which Canessa said:

"As the business has grown, we now are swamped--completely swamped--with folks that want in Arcade, large publishers and small publishers alike .... the Capcoms, Namcos, Midways, Konamis, EAs--those types of guys were like, 'Yeah, maybe one or two titles.' Now they're coming out with us saying, 'oh, we wanna do 25 titles. We wanna do 20 titles. We're starting up a division to do arcade titles.' So we have a huge amount of opportunities from the large publishers. Not just back-catalog stuff... The retro stuff is part of it, but it's also new content they wanna develop for arcade..."

And I also have COD2, NFS:MW, PDZ, PGR3, Kameo, Condemned, and DOA4.

There is no time limit and you can unlock achievements, as well as see the leaderboards and get your scores on there.

There may be an enemy or two that is on the real game thats not on the demo too, because I know I never saw the blue guys on the demo, but th en again, I couldn't last that long when I had the demo.
