We're sorry, this product is not available.
I found it odd that I didn't have much trouble finding a premium system at Target earlier this week, and the next day when I randomly went into my local EB, they actually had a couple of premium systems as well. I'm sure neither store lasted long, but I do feel like it's getting easier and easier to find a premium, and more-so a core system, if you really want one.

For those who have been waiting, make a few phone calls to the entertainment centers in your local stores, and see what you can find out.

Alright guys, I'm buying a 12 month sub card for Live, so here is my gamertag: blurredvision06

I have Fight Night 3 and Perfect Dark in my possession. I've also signed up for an account at gameznflix.com, so I'll have various other games in my possession at most times. Add me if you want to play sometime.

GRAW.... I LOVED the original Ghost Recon on PC. I've never played a game like this on a console though. Usually the controls are better on the PC (my opinion). Are you guys going to pick it up for the 360 or PC?

360 for me no doubt, I played the original Ghost Recon on live more than probably any other game I had for the original xbox.

Quick question about Live:

I signed up for the one month free trial of Gold membership, with full intentions of tacking on another 12 months. I know I have the option of just going into the Marketplace and purchasing the extra 12 months, but I've seen the sub cards in stores that boast a 12+1 month subscription. If I purchase the card, do you think it will give me an extra month on top of the 12, therefore giving me 14 months total for the price of 12? Or is the free month I signed up for initially the +1 that's on the sub card? Granted, I'll have to pay tax if I purchase a sub card instead of just going through the Marketplace, but it will only be $3 extra, and still worth it IMO.
yah and on top of that when you buy cards you also get a free arcade game as well as free download points..
ill be getting the cards everytime i renew
I just wanted to confirm that you are indeed correct about getting all the months. Like I previously said, I signed up for the free Gold month earlier this week, then just now added one of the 12+1 card codes, and now it shows I'm a member until 04/07. So I've got 14 months for the price of 12, basically. Good stuff

Now how do you redeem the free arcade game? I see nothing anywhere about a free arcade game with the purchase of the card.

For those who are still hunting. Probably will not last long, but seems like a pretty decent bundle, 3 games and 1 extra wireless controller.

This item is currently not available.

Yea, didn't last long. Still selling like hotcakes and will be at least until there is a steady flow.

Hey guys, is it normal in Fight Night 3 for your record to reset after you've won the amateur belt? I was 5-0 with 5KO's when I won the amateur belt, went into the settings to save, and when I came back out, I happened to notice my record was reset back to 0-0. I think I may be considered a professional now and that's why it reset, but not sure, hopefully someone can confirm this before I get pissed that the game has a bug. I fought one more match, and now I'm 1-0.

Thanks.

blurredvision: IIRC, my record did not reset.

purbeast0: It's definitely fun, and great to see your fighter get better and better in career mode. I just can't help but feel that I'm blowing through that a little too quickly. I'm on the normal (or medium or whatever it's called) difficulty setting, and have yet to be knocked to the ground.

Yes, seriously. I've never touched the mat even once. I've also won all my fights by knockout, though some were in the last few seconds of the final round (which was *very* satisfying).

It's definitely more difficult if you play a little guy against a freaking legend, but career mode is too easy so far. I'm going to try the hard setting after I finish with my current boxer.

I have yet to play it with friends (aside from the demo a few times, that is), so I'm sure that creates a very different experience. When I did play the demo against a friend, I was very thrown off by playing from the opposite corner.

Overall, it's a pleasant buy, knowing that I'll get good trade-in after I get bored with it when Oblivion comes out.

My record did reset, and yes that's because you turn pro.

And I agree with everything said here.

I'm like 10-1 in my pro (middleweight) career. The one loss was by knockout. I had won the first five rounds, but had worn myself out along the way. In the sixth, he got a couple of good shots in and I couldn't recover. Now I pace myself much better.

Online play is excellent. Nothing much more to say about that.

I have a vague recollection that Microsoft sells both "Live boxes" and "just cards". That might be where the confusion is coming from.

Retailing for about $30 US, the controller is tricked out with A, B, X and Y buttons that can be set at a rate of 13 or 26 pps (presses-per-second). Hellooo Xbox Live.

When you do auto-train, you only get half of the possible stat increase. So, I do manual. The two minutes is worth double gain.

I hate the combo dummy. HATE.

But yeah... I rarely auto-train. It works well on odd numbers because it seems to always give you over half (5% max will yield 3% if auto-trained). I'm awesome at the bag and weights, so meh.

Xbox 360 comes with a visualization plugin during music playback (similar to wmp and winamp's) that is absolutely awesome. Is there anywhere where I can download it for PC?

Nope, it was developed by Jeff Minter (of llamasoft) exclusively for the 360.
