ANyone in the DC Metro Area ...
Target in Wheaton has Premium's. I also stopped by Toys R Us in rockville after I worked out to see if they had GR:AW and I saw a buncha white 360 boxes at their display area, so I think they have em in stock too.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, 9.2 IGN
9.2 from IGN, yea it will be a 10 in my book lol.
Oh yea, lock er back down.
I wonder if Blockbuster is going to have it in stock....I already spent my spending money for this money so I won't pick it up till next month at the earliest. Even then, my spending money will be between this and Oblivion.
But then again, if you don't return the game within two weeks, they do charge your credit card for purchase... Not that it would help you with your gift card.

Yeah, I was talking about renting. I get two free in-store coupons through Blockbuster Online. Blockbuster does sell 360 games though...at least the Blockbuster stores that have that GameRush store within a store thing do.

It doesn't look much bettr than someone we could see on xbox or ps2.
The Outfit (Xbox 360)
Mercenaries (Xbox)
SOCOM 3 (PS2)
*shrugs*... I still say The Outfit looks significantly better.

So I decided to check out Target before class yesterday and end up buying the white box w/ 3 games, PDZ, PGR3, DOA4. Maybe I'll order GRAW tonight from outpost too.

I've been screwing with The Outfit demo some more, and I've discovered what I think is a winning strategy in 3v3 games - or, at least, it seems to work for me:
1. Split up. Send one guy each to the radio tower, armory, and tank factory. If you're the allies, send a bazooka guy after the radio tower. Either way, I'd push flame-thrower/smg heroes after the armory and tank factory.
2. The guy who takes the radio tower should _immediately_ blow the enemy's bridge with an airstrike, and then take the strategic point. Against 99% of demo players, if you start moving at the start of the game, you'll easily be able to do this first.
3. Everyone should then set up some static defenses (what they can afford) and dig in. I suggest an AT weapon and a .30 cal at the minimum, maybe even two .30 cals.
4. If you've got bazooka guy at the strategic point, crouch and start lobbing shots at the Axis HQ buildings (you can hit them at this range!). Alternatively (or additionally!), suppress your attackers and call in air strikes on the enemy buildings. You won't be in range of all of them, but you should be able to hit one or two. You might also think about taking out the enemy radio tower, so their own air strikes are more expensive / non-existent (haven't really done this much).
5. Once the armory and tank factory are secure, start flanking into the enemy base to air strike it. Use the guy at the strategic point to hold down/distract the enemy. If you've got the points, now is a good time for a tank attack.
6. Don't let them rebuild that bridge! Always keep a reserve of 300 points or so to send in another air strike. The water is your best defense! A corollary: don't lose the radio tower. It's VERY important.
I've noticed that a lot of players seem to be extraordinarily fond of trying to shoot at the first person they see (generally the person on the strategic point). However, if you crouch down behind cover, move fast, and shoot intelligently, you can last a surprisingly long time against long-distance fire.
If you do manage to get in the opponents' base, there's an art to using flame throwers on buildings (which is why I mentioned using smg/flame-thrower heroes for this task). There are two ways to take down a building:
1. Do lots of random damage to it.
2. Totally remove the first floor.
The second option is fastest, and lends itself surprisingly well to flame throwers. Circle strafe around the building, carefully aiming for the walls of the first floor! The building will come down VERY fast.

Keep it inside your house/apartment rather than outside?
