I just went and picked up Battlefield 2, and it came with a free 48 hour trial for XBOX Live GOLD.
I don't need it, so the first person to quote this message will get a PM from me with the code in it to activate the free trial.
You must have 1000 posts though, I want to give it to someone who's been around for a while.

Heh. I'd make use of that offer, but I'm on my one month free deal for now.
P.S. I spent all of CAD$5 and $10 for Amped and Pure Pinball for the Xbox, since they both work on the 360. For those prices I figured I couldn't lose. Well, they're OK, but now that I'm used to HD gaming, original Xbox games really do look old school.

Most old APs only supported 802.11b. 802.11a was very uncommon, 802.11a/b even moreso. Even today, 802.11a/b/g APs are still the exception, not the rule, in the consumer space.Originally posted by: RagingBITCH
Oh. Haha yea that makes sense now, I was like "wtf are you talking about man?". Aren't most AP's still have A/B/G functionality anyway? The majority of the older ones that weren't G yet supported A/B. (I haven't kept up with wireless lately so I don't know if the B/G supports A out of the box like the older B's did)

not really... most of the cars are not even close to the top of the list performance wise.. all except the Z06 which is the new top dog of its class..
the twin turbo saleen S7 is ok just not really even close to top of class A
I like the speed pack, and the fact that they added a few almost "normal" cars. That's one thing I liked better about PGR2... They had a larger variety of cars (not just exotics).Originally posted by: Queasy
Yeah, it is still rare to race in Class A and see a car other than a F50 GT.Originally posted by: CVSiN

Wow. I finally tried out the BF:Modern Combat demo and I think that is the first demo that truly would make me not want to rent a game much less buy it. The controls were just horrible as I would push up and my guy/vehicle would go sideways. Wouldn't stop when I wanted it to. Would get caught/stuck on objects that I thought I was far away from. And on and on.
I completely rebooted my 360, my router, and my DSL modem to make sure it wasn't a bad connection...but it wasn't. It was the game as far as I could tell.

Is the speedpack free, or does it cost something to purchase?

It is funny how the Orrery Pack is cheaper than the horse armor upgrade.

Costs 400 points for 11 cars. You can get the Aston Martin V8 Vantage for free.
The Auto-Update which fixes some bugs and adds some features is free.

Meh. I'll stick with the regular PGR3 then, I have a hard enough time driving the stock cars, muchless waste however much that is on 11 more.
