Well according to the latest analysis I've read the 360 will be on top in the US this year and next. Most analysts are looking for a fall launch window for the PS3 which certainly gives the 360 a jump start. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

well I finally beat call of duty 2 on veteran last night. that is one of the toughest challenges I've ever played in recent times. the dday mission was by far the hardest mission in the entire game.

if you want a good challenge, put that game on Veteran and try to beat it.

Aaah man you are missing out. The campaign is so intense! It has some great battles and levels!

The online gameplay has gotten worse and worse though . So many times now it says "unable to join session" so I've not been online much in that game recently. Hopefully this fix comes out soon for it.

Yeah it sucks. It used to be that I would get lag on 1 out of every 5 matches. It sounds like it's getting worse. I have actually seen more and more threads on various gaming forums of people complaining about this lately.

anyone have the 360 harmony remote (or any harmony remote for that matter?)

I am thinking about getting the 659 or the XBox 360 version of it ... any comments on these remotes?

I have the 360 version and I love it. The amount of customization that it has is amazing. I can't comment on the 659, but the 360 version does more than enough for me.

I got it for $65 AR and I think that's a value considering the fact that I don't have to have 4 remotes on my coffee table anymore

You set up certain "Activities" in the remote that say things like "Play Xbox360", "Watch TV", "Watch a DVD", etc. When you select one it automatically turns the TV on, switches the TV to the correct input, turns on and changes my receiver over to the correct input, and turns on the third device (360, DVD player, etc.). The power button at the top of the remote turns off all of the devices in my entertainment center at once.

One thing I've always hated about my TV is that there isn't a menu to choose which input you want - you have to press the TV/Video button repeatedly to scroll through each input to get to the one you want. Don't have to worry about that anymore with the Harmony - it switches to the correct input instantly.

Overall, I'd have to give this thing a 10/10. I couldn't be happier with it and with the ability to hook it up to the PC and download new instructions for new devices and upgrade firmware when necessary, I don't think I'll ever need another remote again. :thumbsup:

Aaah that sounds great . My TV too is the same way (I have a samsung DLP) where it makes you scroll through all of the inputs to get to the one you want. That's good news that it can go directly from input 3 -> 2 without having to go to 1 .

I also have 4 remotes (well 3, I lost my receiver one, which is another reason I want an all in one) and have been looking at a lot of the harmony remotes. It's wierd though because I see so many models ranging from $125 (360 one) to $200 yet I can't tell what they do differently. I personally think the 360 one looks very nice.

I was looking at the deal for the 880 but its $250. It has a color LCD screen and it recharges so you never need batteries, but I can't justify $250 for a remote. yes I know there were some deals online to get it for under $150, but I have a sealed copy of PGR3 and a sealed copy of PDZ that I'm going to take back to the store for $105 credit, meaning I would only have to shell out a few bucks for the 360 remote.

Does anyone else think the Full Auto demo sucks? I was going to buy the game, but after playing the demo, I think it will be a terrible game. Anyone actually like the demo?

i like it.

and you have to realize the demo is from a build MONTHS ago ... like from before the 360 was launched.

i know because its the same exact demo I played at Zero Hour, on November 20th 2005.

the finished game will be much more polished when it comes out.

I concur totally. I just didn't like the gameplay at all.

Try FightNight, it's awesome. The last boxing game I played was Ready 2 Rumble for dreamcast, I'm not a boxing fan, but this was great.

well that just goes to show you weren't even following this game, so you just had the wrong expectations for it.

Sure, but I generally don't "follow games" often and go off of my perception about the game. In my experience I have bought fewer games because of demos. I generally see the ad, want it, and will get it. If I play the demo, it can only make me NOT want it at that point...
