I miss our sticky!

Anyways, couldn't resist...I'm now An Xbox live user

Well, once I set it up I will be (and i'll post gamer tag info)

I can't believe they PM'd that, but props to you

I know, I was surpirsed but I was out that way so it was worth a shot! And the 10% off the diff. was great too. I'll use the $20 off coupon and make 5 dollars on this deal then too. I could never see myself spending the full amount, but 15 bucks is amazing.

I'm going to actually try to get this PM'ed today. Thanks for the headsup

Didja get it?

I didn't have time yesterday to try

however I still have the BB ad though and the rest of the week

I hope you can get it I went back to get some (To sell at cost+gas to help others) but my CCity was cleaned out. There were six there when I went, none now.

Picked up burnout though, $47.99 and using my Xbox live $20 rebate, $27.99 for burnout, nice If anyone wants my 48 hour card PM me

did anyone get The Outfit? I know I'm passing on that game for sure.

Yeah, I just subscribed to the thread since the sticky is gone.

I'll probably rent The Outfit at some point...whenever I get my 360 back and can get through other games like GRAW, Oblivion, Fight Night, Burnout....On second thought, looks like I may never rent The Outfit.

Xbox.com is saying that the GRAW demo is up for download but others are reporting that it isn't actually on Live Marketplace yet.

I'm definitely picking it up today. I can't get enough of the demo.

It's a "when it gets to $20-$30" purchase for me. I liked the demo a lot, but I've just got too much on my plate right now - like finishing GRAW and then working on some more achievement points. Then you figure in Oblivion and maybe Burnout Revenge, and I just can't see getting to The Outfit for a good long while.

I think it's absolutely terrible that a good game like that gets short shrift, but it's like choosing between fried chicken, a good tuna steak, or prime rib - I like fried chicken, but I don't pass up tuna steak or prime rib for it.

Speaking of GRAW, I'm up to the "take out the air defenses mission", and I'm finding it deliciously difficult. You've really got to move carefully when you're half shot to death from the ride down - but it also forces you to improve your sniper skills a lot.

I think The Outfit is another example of why EA was smart to delay BF2:Modern Combat until next month. Burnout, Oblivion, Fight Night, and GRAW are absolutely swallowing up the gameplay for the month of March.

Yah I have Burnout and GR:AW to keep me busy until BF2 which is next in line for me.

I am really REALLY loving Burnout. Getting perfect in the game is going to be quite a challenge and take quite some time, which is definitely a good thing. I've played GR:AW single player probably 3 times total, and I'm like half-way through the game. The single seems very short in that game. But I will probably go back and try to beat it on hard once i finish it on normal.

But for now, I'm liking Burnout Revenge more than GR:AW, both online and offlinle play. But I will admit, I still havent played GR:AW online too much yet because I am just having too much fun playing Burnout both single and multi.

Burnout Revenge is arguably the best 360 game i've played so far. I absolutely can't wait to get home and play multiplayer.

Guys, should I create a new thread so that everyone with a gamertag can list their Xbox gamertags? I may create one so that it will be easier to have people add each other to their friends list.

I've only played the Xbox version, but to me Burnout Revenge is among the most fun games I've ever played, for any platform. Brilliant brilliant design IMO. The 360 version looks even better.

GRAW is amazing.

As noted it gets tougher pretty quick but breaks up the group combat with a solo mission here and there.

I love the Outfit demo...
people need to realize its NOT BF2 nor is it tryign to be...
Its more strategy than shooter...

I demolish guys that think its a shooter over and over online..

its a fun new game thats not anything like any other game out there really..

If its compared to shooters it will come out looking bad every time.. and thats what people were expecting.. a Mercenaries with multiplayer.. but its more of an RTS than anything else..

Demo was fun as hell.. definatly on my GF list.

I honestly didn't like the solo missions. It's much more fun to command fellow Ghosts.

I concur. Although I would really have loved a new Banjo-Kazooie game, or something like that, I love Rare games so much (They made the n64 worth owning for sure) so I'll buy it based on Rare only.

wtf are you guys smoking... first "grand theft ping pong"...
now Rare making kiddie games?

whats next..."Grandmas Hovaround grand prix"?

you and your LIVE friends can now go head to head racing the very latest in geriatric transportation the "Hovaround"!
race frantically at 1.5 mph around obsticles such as the kitchen table!! or Shopping isles at Walmart.. OMG watch out for baby jimmy in the toy isle!

omfg... whats the video game industry coming to... did those damn lawyers really put the scare of GWs anti porn/violence laws into them?

I guess you completely missed the success that games like Pokemon, Harvest Moon, and the Sims have enjoyed. This is a market that neither the Xbox or the 360 have touched. You'll still get your GRAW, Halo3, GTA, etc and nobody is forcing you to play much less buy this game. This just adding to the diversity of the game lineup.

Exactly why I buy Xbox and not a crappy PS2 or GC... no kiddy games...
why are they wasting valuable manhours on worthless products..

in almost every household Ive been in kids 10 and below dont even get to touch the 360 lol...
Pinatas... omfg... pokemon? you gotta be kidding me... maybe in Japan but i never have seen an adult male (which is the main purchasers of 360s and thier focus groups) play such a thing...

Sims.. ok only on PC where you can actually mod them into a game thats worthwhile!
aka virtual porn but worthless on consoles..

let the kiddies have thier nintendos and sonys let the big boys have the 360.. quit wasting top notch studios time with crap..

Although I agree that Rare and Rockstar should have made diff. choices on their current 360 games, Rare always makes kick ass, top notch, and fun games. I'm a big fan of animal crossing, so I'm willing to give this new game a shot. Again, I would rather have BK, or KI3, but I'm sure it will be enjoyable. And not everyone wants to kill things all the damn time.

Street Fighter 2 Delayed? Nooooooo

A Microsoft employee recently e-mailed Kotaku the inside dirt on some upcoming XBox 360 releases. Among other things the mole said, ?Right now a lot of work is being done of Street Fight 2 [sic] because the lag is very bad and they are having trouble getting it playable online.?

This would certainly explain the delay from early march to ?Q2 2006? earlier reported by Gamespot. Given Capcom?s track record on online play, I?m not holding out much hope for this one.

I think Viva Pinata actually looks creative and fascinating. Not sure it's my style, but that's quite subjective. Will Wright's Spore looks like another killer game in that sort of vein.

Although, that said, I'd kill for a Harvest Moon or Princess Maker-style game for the 360. My wife was _hugely_ addicted to PM for a while on the PC.

It's March and I still don't see Xbox 360 boxes in stores on the shelves, to the point where you can just walk in and get it without any fighting.

Prices are coming down on them, but still have to look online for who ever has it in stock.
