I could be wrong, but I believe that you can pick up one of those cheap $20 or so USB wireless adapters to use. At the very least Linksys, and probably Netgear and D-Link sell wireless game adapters intended for consoles. I think they sell for $40 or so.

I don't believe you can use a USB wireless adapter with the 360 other than the official 360 wireless adapter.

If you can find a Linksys WRT54G v4 router or earlier, you can flash it so that you can use it as a bridge. You can usually find them on eBay for ~$50. Cheaper than the 360 wireless adapter but I'll be honest and say that the 360 wireless adapter is extremely easy to setup and performs well.

I'm about to play the NCAA demo to decide if I want to buy it or not but I definately plan to grab Oblivion and GRAW. Any other suggestions?

Don't let the NCAA demo discourage you too much. The graphics aren't quite that bad. The gameplay is still there but it isn't filled with features. I don't know if it is worth $60 but it was worth the $40 - trade-in value for game = $1.05 that I got it for.

Fry's is the store that has it for $40 right now.

Best advice is to check out all the demos that you can download. Also check out XBLA games like Cloning Clyde, Geometry Wars, Uno, etc.

General Deal FYI - Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero can be had for $19.99 at Circuit City this week. I believe these are the first 360 games to hit the $20 mark.

I'm kinda looking forward to Dead Rising. Some of the movies make it look incredibly fun IMO, though I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a disappointment. The real question is, can I bring myself to pay $59 for it?

I agree.... I rented it through gamefly, played it for about 30 minutes (10 minutes single player and then about 20 minutes online..) stopped playing it and sent it back the next day. what a waste of my time....

I have NCAA 07 on it's way right now, should be here tomorrow. If it's good enough I may buy it... but I might just wait and buy Madden 07 instead.

I really didn't care for prey at all after playing the demo, but I will rent it and give it a shot. I"m not expecting much at all though, probably won't finish that game either.

Oblivion has been the only game that has REALLY kept me busy for weeks at a time. the others I have played for a few days at a time, and that's about it.

GRAW is OK.. I actually bought that game and never play it. I just can't seem to get into it that much.

And speaking of Epic games in development, while 360 action title Gears of War was undoubtedly one of the more visually amazing titles on show during May's gaming spectacular, Rein promised that improved tech will mean that the final version will raise the bar still further.

"[The E3 demo] was using our single-threaded rendered. We have our new Gemini multi-threaded rendered working in the engine right now," Rein explained. "The final game's built on it, it gives us better frame rates and more fluidity - UT 2007 will also benefit from it. It only gets better from here. So if you were impressed with Gears of War at E3, the finished game's going to be much better, it's going to be spectacular."

yah at zero hour cliffy b told us explicitly that it was only running on one thread. And he said that each of the 3 cores can do 2 threads, for a total of 6 threads. so basically he was saying it was at 1/6 of it's power.

Really? I did that when it was first revealed you could do that and haven't been banned or even heard about it yet. I don't frequent 360 specific forums so I may have just missed any discussions of that sort, but I would have figured a news item like that would have made the Xbox-Scene front page by now (unless I again missed it).

Solution to fix the 3 red light error on the 360.

I figured I'd post that here incase someone is out of warranty and their 360 takes a dive. I expect I may have to do this at some point lol.
