Hmm - not that I have a problem with you folks buying and reselling these, but doesn't Dell? Just curious

I'm curious too. When you go to checkout one of the questions asked is if the 'Purchase is intended for Resale' (or not). I've never read over the terms of agreement for the sale, so that it would be interesting.
People may be ignorant enough to think "how would they know if I resell it" or "I didn't intend to resell it when I bought it" but the fact is if you transfer the warranty within a month on a whole bunch of systems, Dell would probably start to take notice...eventually.
But then again, maybe they don't care. So I would just wonder why they ask when you're checking out?

Even without scripts, you guys shouldn't have a tough time finding deals if you're smart about it.
It helps to know what you want ahead of time, so you can filter your search as much as possible.
Pay a lot of attention during the last 30 minutes of every hour for the drops.
If you sort the list by price twice, you can F5 without having to hit enter every time. Also, you can check the top five boxes and they'll stay checked so you don't have to furiously click each checkbox during drops.
F5 + clicking has netted me tons of great deals.
Another way to get a killer deal is to search for computers with great video cards...often times, scripters will sort based on price alone, but as gshock posted earlier, a $1100 Gen4 XPS w/ a X850XT PE is a great deal. Similarly, I netted two loaded 8400s with X800s for $1050 total...the video cards alone are worth around $180-ish, so the net price for the loaded 8400s was $320-ish.
Warm deals are easy to come across too. I've tossed back several $250 4700s...which is a great deal for a fairly modern PC with a PCIe x16 slot.

Thanks for the tips. Still trying ...
Is the 4700C as good as the 4700? Seeing as they last longer, I doubt it - just confirming. No PCI x slot, perhaps?
<edit> IS there a way to search for only 600 series (64 bit) processors? Seems searching for P4-3000 brings up both kinds.

Although waying they should only sell to final users is unfair too, especially seeing as all the script users who are then ebaying th systems are the ones keeing the Dell Outlet running
I wonder what I have to do (can't hack scripts to save my life!) to get a good deal on an 8400 630 with XP Pro Been trying for 2 days now!
