The script kiddies are in there. It wasn't that bad about a week ago. You could see the day they all ramped up. It went from like 300+ systems to like 10 within an hour.

I don't care (not yet anyway) if they touch the Inventory page as long as they don't screw with the shopping cart.

well they are now back. and you get to choose from

"certified refurbished" "previously ordered new" and "scratch and dent" so you know what you're getting into when you get that super cheap system. (good for ebay people to sell them as refurbished-new also)
but one complaint: for XPS600, you can no longer tell if the card is 6800, 7800GTX or 7800GTX SLI. I hope they will fix this.

Has anybody figured out how to automatically put systems into a shopping cart? I got my own script that worked very well before the Outlet redesign but I can't figure out how to automatically add to shopping cart now.

randyo, you'll fine people to be the most unhelpful due to the fact that many of these buyers in dell outlet also resell these systems (myself included but i dont use scripts so its pretty hard for me, and since they started charging ny tax and shipping i have bought like only 3 systems, 2 for sale one XPS 600 for myself)

you'll have to wait when they drop systems into the outlet catalog, but script kiddies will almost always grab the best deals...

dont bother going for 100 dollar systems, if you;re buying it for yourself, just put it into the cart first, you have 15 minutes of inactivity allowed before they move it away from your cart, use that time to research how much you will save by going into the new machine configurator.

I have an Inspiron 600mc on the way. For some reason, an AC adapter is NOT listed on the invoice. Should it be?

Another weird thing is the extended 2-year warranty I bought at the time of order. It seems to be listed on the invoice but not reflected in the total price. Am I getting a free warranty upgrade (keeping fingers crossed)?

Those who have experience with Dell Outlet laptops, please share your knowledge. Thanks.

If you actually need Office Small Business and 3 years of McAfee, it is not a bad deal. Otherwise, you can do better.

If I were going for a dual-core CPU, I would not be buying Pentium D 2.8GHz. I don't perceive it as a decent performer. However, I don't have a dual-core CPU, so I might be b*tching for no reason.

I found Inspiron XPS Gen2 for $1410 after discount not bad wasn't there look 5 min later it pop and I hit cart real quick, only one I seen all day

2Gig ram 2.13 P4 mobile M,Great screen got LG don't like the DVD burner sony rather have nec, but 60gb 7200 Harddrive, usb tv tuner, bluetooth pretty good I return one with with less it cost $2600.
