Nope but got a 3.0 one w/512mb ram, dvd burner x300ati card for $360...now just to figure out how to drop the other one I picked up...do you know how to do that? I'm on the last page about to pay but noticed that I just want one ? I know if I go back it'll probably drop out of the cart...

I don't and had the same trouble eariler. Once you go through to payment I think you have to just submit and then call to cancel the other part. I did this with a pair of speakers that got added on.

Which # did you call ? I called the order # earlier and it's just automated never talked to anyone...I screwed up on my billing address on my very first order yesterday so I need to change that.

1-888-462-3355 had to wait a long time, and it also delayed the shipment of my system for ~30 hours...at least thats what the guy told me. Since tomorrow is Sunday anyways...didn't seem like a big deal.

Well, I am pissed. Two of the systems I ordered aren't showing up on my account at Dell, nor on my credit card, nor did I get any confirmation emails. And these two were nice, both less than $350. I guess there is nothing I can do

So do you transfer the warranties to the people who buy them? How can you get the serial # if your systems are sealed? Just curious

Haha, here is a txt file I keep for emailing buyers...

Great. This is very easy and won't take but a minute.

First go here..
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/...x/support/change_order/en/tag_transfer

(If that link is too long, you can go here...)
http://tinyurl.com/4bd75

First, fill in my info:

Ben Macre
## ######
Memphis, TN 38103
(###) ###-####
#######@yahoo.com

Then just fill in the Service Tag (this is found on the side of the computer). Then your info, and just click "submit."

That's it. Enjoy the system!

Thanks again, and if there's anything else I can do for you, just ask.

how are you guys dealing with shipping on the cheaper systems? Ive added a few machines that come in around $200 but then the shipping kills it, dell is charging like $100 to ship these guys.... really kills the hot deal.

any tips?

Is the invoice in the box? Cause if you resell it as still sealed wouldn't they see the invoice?

Nope. There is a shipping label (which includes system specs) on the side of the box, which can be removed of course.

LOL I knew I shouldn't have checked the outlet again.

I grabbed this one:
Dimension 8400 Desktop: Pentium 4 Processor 530 with HT Technology (3.00GHz, 800 FSB, 1MB)
System Price $449.00
Promotion Discount ($75.00)
Discounted Price $374.00
Dell recommends Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home
Memory: 512 MB DDR SDRAM, 400 MHz (2 DIMM)
Hard Disk Drive: 160 GB EIDE SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM)
Video: 128MB PCI Express ATI Radeon X300 SE
Modem: 56Kbps Data/Fax Modem
CD Read-Write Drive: 48X CD RW/DVD Combo Drive
Microsoft Money
Microsoft Encyclopedia 2004
WordPerfect Productivity Suite 12.0
Logitec 2-button Scroll Mouse
QuietKey Keyboard

Now I have (want) to call in and cancel one of the two 4700s I ordered. I'm going to slap in a unlocked/overclocked 6200 (550/700 w/8 pipelines) and have a nice little sub-$450 gaming system.
