It was a harmless attempt at humor, if Paige wants it edited I will. I think she probably knows me better than either of you do so she can probably at least admit it was harmless (even if she didn't see the humor).

The rest of you can take a flying leap.

Regardless - that was plain wrong.

Do us a favor and ban your self for a week.

If anyone else said something like that, they would be banned.

You could have at least apologized. :disgust:

People should know better than to rob and kill people too

If the kids were like 15 or 16, it would have been different. But 10?? That's way overboard. I don't care who you are.

Wow, look at the n00b go.

It was hilarious, stop being an uptight jagbag and get the hell over yourself.

BTW, in reference to the OP, sounds like an awesome setup. Nice job. And hit me up on IM again, we'll trade news.

I know Gregg personally, so I know it was a joke. It did set a bad trend for the thread though, that a bunch of other people were ready to pick up on.

Rather than crucifying anybody that posted (note that I didn't call for erasure of any of it, just for no more) can we go on with the thread?

Yea Twins!

I married a twin

I hope you get the horse, though isn't 15 yo a bit long in the tooth <--read that somewhere...

My mother has a 3 year old stallion that she's having trained right now and hopefully my girls 7,3.5,1 will be riding when they're your sisters age.

The end of my current ten year plan is to own a hobby farm, maybe I'll keep a horse or two

15 is just about right for a horse kids can use and still get a lot of use out of. Horses live anywhere from 25-35 years, so a 15 year old horse is kinda like a 35 year old human. 15 in good health is perfect - calm enough for kids, enough get-go for adults.

Three year old stallion? I don't know that I would put kids up on a stallion, generally. They tend to be much more tempermental and demanding than a gelding or mare. Not that mares aren't bitchy too (just like all women! )

I hope that it works out for you. Mir and Li would love it!

It's amazing how quickly they grow at their age. They look so different from those pictures now as they grow out of that "all knees and elbows" phase. Gotta love the two of them. They're such cool people.

Don't mention this to them - I haven't got an answer from the lady yet.

Of course I'm not certain how this works having been raised a suburban child of country parents, but I imagine my Mother will have him gelded... It's her horse, I'm just an interested observer

Her main concern is dairy goats, the stallion was got in trade at some point along the way, he spent a year or so as lord of the pasture and now she's trying to get him shaped up... I've never ridden but would love to some day if it all works out.

I think it's really wonderful that you and your sisters have had the opportunity for such a diverse experience, I hope to provide that to my girls.

3 years is a bit old to be gelded. It definitely can be done, of course, but a lot of the development has already taken place to give him the stallion attitude. If you're going to geld, you usually do it pretty young.

HotChic,

Your sisters don't happen to have identical Big Wheel tricycles do they? Do they walk side by side down hallways?

Nope and nope. They don't dress, talk, think or act alike either.

That's good. I'd be very wary if they did.

Awesome pictures.

Your entire family is so cute! And yeah, I mean that in a non-perverted way.

Except for the over 18 people.

And your Dad.
