Oh no!
I got home from work today... and both of my LCD 22" Widescreen monitors were face down on my desk. This DVD/CD stand that was behind them came crashing down!
Both monitors appeared to be damaged. Not very heavily, but.. a couple of the "scratches" on either monitor were fixed with some simple rubbing. It went right away.
However, on the other monitor, there's like a small skid mark. That's what ti reminds me of most. Maybe like a light scratch? It's only about an inch long. It sounds bad, but given the size of the monitors it could lead to a problem.
Now... I bought these during the Black Friday sale. What should I do?
Should I exchange them at Best Buy and lie, or is that considered wrong and immoral?
Is there some way to get scratches out of a monitor? It looks big, but not deep... so it seems minor!
Please help! You can't imagine how I felt when I got home and saw them lying face down like that... it was a pretty heart-wrenching feeling.
