Actually the video indicates that it has a sensor system to see you step forward. ie: at 5:53 the person takes a step forward to run.

Never doubt Nintendo. That is all I will say. While everyone else is content to add more horsepower (ie.-more of the same), Nintendo always, ALWAYS innovates and takes risks. I'm no fanboi and I'm certainly NOT heralding this video as legitimate or even realistic, however, even if this is part of what Nintendo is working on, Revolutionary it will be. The implications of this are broad and powerful, bringing a whole new type of gaming to the forefront. E3 will be interesting afterall!
