The Pope is probably one of the few religious leaders uniquely qualified to be involved in "politics". He also happens to be a head of state (the Holy See). Separation of Church and State does not apply to the Pope.

Organized religion is still all about having large masses of followers who believe the manmade BS that is spewn by them. There is no real spirituality in any of these religions. They are all fake just like the people who follow them.

I have a lot of respect for him. It's rare to see such a prominent religious leader with the courage of their convictions and honesty towards the positive messages of their faith.
Where are the evangelical Christian leaders of the US ? How are they supporting Trump and hatred ? Shines a light on how they use their 'faith' as a club and means to spread hate and exercise control over other people's freedoms.

Organized religion is there to control the masses, not to spread the truth. If they were truthful, they would not be as vast as they are.Until a pope roots out every child molester and opens up the church's vast holdings to pay damages to the victims he has no business calling out anyone on anything.
