Do you really need a lawyer to figure this one out?

(we can always hope fat-boy Desantis sees this as a chance to use his "influence" to eliminate the Dumpster as competition in the GOP!)

I'm not that well versed with RICO, but this lawsuit will probably fail.

Trump did too many things which caused the financial problems that he's claiming as damages. Trump didn't have to praise Putin 20 times in public during that campaign. He didn't have to say he had no business in Russia, while it was later discovered that he had a signed deal to build a Trump tower in Moscow. His staff didn't have to have 150 contacts with Russian officials, and lie about them. His son and campaign manager didn't have to have a meeting with a Russian lawyer where they expressed happiness over the Russians having stolen emails.

And on and on.

In the law, a plaintiff generally gets little or nothing after it is proven that they caused most of their own harm.

Not what I was getting at really. First, it's federal court so Desantis can eat a dick as far as I can tell regarding this one.

What I was after was if there was any type of frivolous suit/etc. type of advantage or maybe something he was trying to avoid in say DC or NY vs FL. Can't see it having anything to do with the 11th circuit, as there's no way this makes it that far ...
