You think that's crap? check this out: Charter Communications cable -

communication : 406.6Kbps
storage : 49.6KBps
1MB file: 20.6 seconds.

Hmmm 1.9 MBIT. That seems strange, because I thought AT&T was capped at 1.5mbit. Maybe they changed their down cap when they doubled the upstream. I dunno.

It is. They just slow down your dl until it reaches 1.5mbit. Thats why when you download something, it starts out fast and then slows down.

A T1 is 1.544 Megabits per second.
