Ohioans, recommend me a bank that doesn't suck.

My current bank, 53rd, is a freakin' lazy pile of sh!t. No 24/7 customer support, only open from 9AM-noon on Saturday, and closes at 5PM on weekdays.

I know many banks are like this, but I don't care. Anyone know any banks that actually work to at least 6PM on weekdays and weekends?

I've been happy with BankOne/Chase. Pretty good Saturday hours...open until 2:00 I think.

I'm in florida, but doesn't everywhere have a Bank of America? They're great here. Always friendly and helpful. I've been to three different buildings, and they're all great.

US Bank should be in your area. Hours are slightly better. 24 phone banking available. Free internet banking.

My first checking account was with Fifth-Third of Columbus. It was a nightmare. I'm now with National City... I'm happy with them.

Sky Bank is open till 6pm a couple nights a week at the branch I go to. I don't know for sure how many, as I usually use the ATM unless I'm depositing cash. I know they're not open that late on the weekends.

Finding Sky ATMs/Locations is kind of hard depending on where you are.

why the hell do you go to the bank? THis is why they invented direct deposit, the ATM and Online Banking. I haven't walked into a bank (to do financial transactions) in years and I used to work for one.

we went from Bank One to Republican, but some of the people at our Republican branch arent the smartest.

Bank One is a good bet.

I don't know about him, but I prefer to go the bank myself to deposit checks, rather than put them in the deposit drop box.

I'm in Columbus and have 5/3, never been impressed, but they are on campus. Since I graduate in a few weeks, I won't care about their campus locations anymore. I know a few people with national city, probably who I will switch to.
