Oil pressure measured in what units

Is oil pressure measured and reported in PSI all around the world? I'm working on project were we are taking the oil pressure off of a diesel engine and presenting in our application. It's being reported in kPA but in the real would does anyone look at oil pressure in this unit or does everyone regardless of whether they are metric or not use PSI?

Depends where in the world you are. In the USA pressure is measured in PSI. Other places it is measured in kPa. I have been in many service manuals that were written in Japanese that have both specs listed on he particular pages.
