Oil Trading at under 50 dollars a Barrel

The former CEO of Exxon got a $400,000,000.00 bonus when he retired. He doesn't give a flying fuck what the cost of gas is right now or if the industry is losing money. He got his already - the same goes for the rest of these fat cat CEOs who are taking huge bonus checks while cutting benefits and laying off workers. Fuck those fucking fuckers.

Not just them. One of Obama's proposals was to put a 'wind-fall profits' tax on the oil companies to pay for some of his big initiatives. The price of a barrel of oil dropping like a rock is going to kill that.

I filled up at $1.63 this morning, not bad at all. What sucks is that gas is only this low because the world economy is tanking. When it picks up again, we'll be looking at some crazy $4 per gallon again. Ugh.
