HAHA, good info from both of you. Now here is a question i have yet gotten an answer to. Will the PA120.3 cool a QX6600 (oced of course), NB and dual 8800GTS's, and keep load temps under maybe 45c? If not then i will add most likely a PA120.2, or PA120.3 to the top of the case.... Im going to be investing close to or if not more that $800 in this build, and thats why i want it to be perfect. And thats not including the new VC, and CPU, maybe go all out and get ram and an new mobo. And turn the one i have now into a HTPC.

late reply..temps will be affected by ambients..a quad core and SLI 8800 GTS at load of 45C...jeez your asking a bit much IMHO..even for a PA120.3...not sure will get that even if the cpu was alone on a PA120.3 at load with 4 cores oced

In the case of the radiator, I know a single 120mm rad is good for about 150 watts with high speed fans, so that would give you 450 watts max for a 120.3. Assuming an overclocked quad core draws ~200 watts and the GTS's draw ~100 watts each, you should be able to run such a system on an 120.3 alone, although the temps will be less than optimal if everything's at full load.

there is no doubt the PA120.3 will handle the load but a 45C load temp on quad cores....

go over XS forums...

here is a thread on QX6700 temps...

now beware ..many of thos e temps you see are multi-loop setups

Freecableguy is a guru..what he says is always right on

neals right.

if you have the right pump, with the right radiator, and your blocks are perfectly mounted a PA120.3 will keep that beast under control.

Just thought you guys should know, shunali gave me an update on his project.

DONE!!! Finally!!
Temps

CPU 25* ~ 35*
Systemboard 38* ~ 45* (running on air cooling)
GPUs 34* ~ 42*

Incredibly unbelievable. Whole system running on 1 pump! I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks Aigomorla for all your guidance and advices.

... bwahahahaha... and who questioned my methods again???

he has a second pump. He's waiting to drop that in. A second pump would help with the GPU load temps, incase you guys are wondering. But tyler is going phase, i believe...

They're expensive, but the Mountain Mods Cases have enough room for AT LEAST one of these radiators. The duality - so named for its ability to house two systems (both with 2 PSUs) each - could house two 120.3s - in fact it's specifically made for that. (One for each system, obviously.)

You only have 6 5.25 bays after that, though, and you'd have to share those with any HDDs - you do use HDDs, I hope???

I've just ordered a Twice7 version of the case (14" square as opposed to a 18" square). Keeping a close ear out for the doorbell.

Anyway, my point was that if this case is as good as people say, I'll order a second - 18" OPTI-1203 - case to fit in my server.

This will have 9 HDDs, 4 DVDrws and a - you guessed it - PA120.3... don't what I'll be cooling though. I only want to run a e6320 and an integrated (ASUS p5b-VM) graphics setup. Perhaps the hard-drives.

Oh, and before I forget, I do like your drawings - very cool.
