yea, i was looking at that, and i think i might get it, but the only issue i have with it is that the front case opens up to the right, so it would be hitting my pc stand, but beggars cant be choosers

Ok, if we put behind the fact that i dont need to upgrade, but since it will only be costing me $200 or so dollars, what do you think of my choice of components?
im still looking into cases, but i changed the PSU to a OCZ 520watt Modular PSU
also, is there a better VGA cooler to get for a 6800GT??
and are the x2's better for gaming then a single core cpu, or are they only good for applications such as encoding or streaming video, etc???
i appreciate the help, and i can tell where ur all coming from, but im only upgrading because it will be cheap and i want to do it one last before i start to run out of money/free time (ie. College).
Thank you
EDIT*
well i asked a friend for some case help, and these are the three he liked the most
First one
Second one
Third one
which one do you guys like the most?

I see alot of people here saying to not upgrade, & while it doesn't make alotta sense to upgrade, i did pretty much what you are doing.
I had a s754 3200+ with that crappy K8V SE Deluxe, & i switched to a s939 Venice 3200+ & MSI K8N Neo2 simply to have some OCing fun & to upgrade my RAM more easily.
My recommendations:
Hideous case IMO, but each to their own.
Get the OCZ Modstream 520W not that TT PSU.
Check the reviews for that DVD-+RW. I've heard sketchy things about the Liteon DVD-+RWs
Otherwise it looks good, though Hitachi would be my last pick for HDDs. Seagate

well when i built it last summer i told myself, make it good enough to last for 4 years since ill be going to college soon and i dont want to have to do a whole makeover, just upgrade piece by piece
but that was before 939 and PCI-E
so now, im going by the same philosophy, upgrading majorly so in a few years, i can just upgrade peice by peice (maybe a FX-55 in a few years, or a 7800GTX, etc)
everything im upgrading to is entirely new, which is what i want (such as SataII, 939 socket, PCI-E, etc)
so yes, it may seem like a waste, but its the best i can do before i enter a time of life when money will be almost non-exsistant

Well when you go to college you'll be like me and build a SFF anyways... I'd suggest waiting until the summer before college to build a new rig.

Really, a case is something you can pick on your own...everyone has a different style preference.

sounds good
I settled on the Aspire X-Plorer Steel Case - Black/Silver for my case, its the best one i could find that fits what i want
The only other thing i must decided on is whether to light the inside up with Blue CC's or pure White CC's
im leaning towards the pure white ones, as it could make for an awesome look

If im going to be getting this case (dont make fun of it, i like it ) what would be the best Cold Cathode color to get to light up the inside?
This is the case
i was thinking either Blue, Red or a really sick Pure White color.......
any suggestions?
