<< As a conclusion, I would like to say this: the bible contains myths, told by (uneducated) members of tribes in the Middle-East, many years ago. The first idiot who takes a couple of myths and presents them as 'truth' for anything should be thrown out of society or locked up in a madhouse. >>
A little extreme, but I happen to agree.
<< Do some truly feel that just by some chance/luck/coincidence we all just happened to form by chemical compositions over billions of years.... *POOF* make it so? >>
uh huh. So it wasn't coincidence, but some invisible force which we cannot see, feel, taste, hear or smell (or detect using technology of any kind) that just made it go "*POOF*" over the course of 6 days? Yes that makes SO much sense.
KK, did you that there is another theory (it was on the cover of Discovery mag a coupla months ago) that states that there may be an infinite number of universes? Apparently there are six factors (variables) that dictate how the universe formed and how matter interacts etc etc. If the values of even one of those six variables is even slightly different from the current one, the universe cannot exist.
You may say, but then there is an even smaller chance, however, think. If you had an infinite number of universes, then the chances of a universe capable of holding life, and forming life itself, is not as minute as you would have us believe.
