OK we know you cant live without the internet. Could you live without TLC and Discovery Channels?

I love TLC and Discovery, I think I could give up all other channels as long as I had these 2, any channels you cant do without?

OK, I might have to have the History channel as well.Wait, need HBO to watch The Sopranos. So I can live with 4 channels

I agree, in fact the only reason I have cable is so that I can get Discovery, TLC, History, A&E, Animal Planet (C'mon gotta watch steve!), TechTV. I wish they could offer a cheaper package that only includes the "informative (don't suck) channels"

If all I had were ESPN/ESPN2 and National Geographic Channel I'd be perfectly happy

edit: gotta have Animal Planet, too. I don't watch Discovery much anymore----I used to religiously watch the Wings programs, but they don't show them anymore

i agree about tlc, discovery and history channel. as long as i could also tune in FOX for the simpson's on sunday, i could live quite happily.

I HAVE to live without them. We used to have them but once we got cable modem our bills became horribly expensive, so we dropped to basic cable
I miss TLC and Discovery big time.
I also love the HGtv and some other network I can't remember the name of right now but it's all about home improvement. Really cool.
I also miss A&amp;E--always enjoy the shows they have.

I love the Discovery Channel crime investigation stuff. I can watch those for HOURS! One time they had a marathon on and I was up until 3am watching, i was hooked. They have a bunch of other shows I'll watch too.

TLC, I don't think I watch anything on that, but, maybe.

I don't watch that much TV though. Definitely below average.

I don't have cable TV but I always watch the Discovery Channel at my friends' place. I probably know more about tigers than they know about themselves.

I do like TNN for this car and trucks show, always choppin tops or hackin catalytic converters.. otherwise TNN is not really for me. How about comicview on BET? stuff is silly, LMAO@it all the time.
