interestingly, the people I ever hear on vent... they're actually not. As a matter of fact, in my guild are... a guy with a PhD, an army sergeant, a guy who is an instructor for CAT heavy equipment operators, a nurse, etc. Mostly professionals.

Except after 3 years, I'm close enough to them that I'm also their facebook friend. A couple of them married each other (the sergeant - actually he's a captain, i had it wrong - and the nurse) and just had a kid. Pics all prove it (including ones from Iraq, of the baby, etc.)... not that I didn't believe them, but apparently you don't think these kinds of people exist and play WoW too. Of course, there's also a manager at a California Pizza Kitchen and other retail guys. There's plenty of mature guilds out there.
