Nice logic.. no one wanted Obama to be President either, they all wanted McSame or Killary.

The democratic party didn't split with Obama's nomination the way the GOP is about to from refusal to let Trump be the nominee.

DC and the creatures that inhabit it are quite vile, for the most part. If the wicked, power hungry, corrupt excuses for leadership we have are terrified of Trump as a president, so much the better. I'm tired of the Kabuki theater, the continual bloat of federal government, and the kowtowing to foreign interests by our politicians.

I'll be voting for Trump.

No one in DC wants him to be president, so that tells me he's the right man for the job.

Wonderful logic, and I like how you don't let issues and facts enter into it. Spoken like a Trump supporter, no doubt there.

I don't believe you will find many that love the current players in DC. However I would argue that somehow Trump has made even Ted Cruze look only like only half the tool he actually is.

Trump is one of the more disgusting events on the political scene in my living memory. He is by far more vile than the others running in the race.

How do you think Trump will win while splitting the Republican vote?

And don't forget for one moment that while the middle class is dying, only 1 candidate has proposed a higher living wage.. $15 an hour but the GOP are busy calling him a socialist.

On the other hand Trump is openly saying our wages are too high which is why stuff is made in China and Vietnam. Would you like to work for 38 cents a day like workers in Vietnam do?

That's what the people of America have to decide. And I think economy matters.. it's decided more than a few elections.

I support Trump 100%. The establishment republicans don't get it, the media or the liberals either. Everything is against Trump but he still leads. What does that say about the heartbeat of America?

The woman has been under attack since the mid-90s.

Do you mean "detrimental" like it might apply to the President for being black?

Among politicians, I like those who defer an opportunity to advance because they feel an obligation to pursue their existing elective or appointed office. It doesn't show so much in the news, but Elizabeth Warren has been a potent force so far in the emerging campaign.
Warren and Clinton are nothing alike, you throw her into the statement because she is another female but make the case that gender is someones problem with Hillary? are you for real?

Also, Warren is 100000X what Clinton would and could ever be.

Trump is the guy who walked in on a dark room with a spotlight, now everyone can see the cockroaches scurry. Trump's success has exposed many republicans as traitors and the democrats haven't even opened up yet. Someone who speaks for the people directly and honestly without any outside influences is what this country needs.

Not my intention to make it seem that way. Instead, someone who might have thrown their hat in the ring, decided to stick it out as Senator from Mass.

For the comparison, you might actually be right there. Or -- in the ballpark.

What's the matter you don't believe in democratic process? Trump leads the polls in the Republican primary and leads the polls head to head against Hillary Clinton.

I believe democracy is best because it legitimizes temporary authority.

I don't believe it always offers the best outcome, either in terms of the resulting decision-maker, or the decisions.

Put it another way. It's a "beauty contest" in so many ways. I'd already given examples of exchanges I had with GOP voters after November, 2000, like "I voted for Bush because of Clinton and that Monica thing." Or in 2008 -- "I don't like his name."

Do you think that Trump is "affable?"

Yes I agree with that. The last thing you can assume is everyone feels like you. Best thing is just go vote how you feel and you hope enough agree with you afterwards.

And discussion boards don't really change people's views on anything, if anything it's true personal life experience or fear.

Next year may very well be an election of fear.

Are we afraid of Muslims? Are we afraid of Trump? Are we afraid of losing our entitlements?

You changed my words! I said it's best because it legitimizes authority! I said there are no guarantees with the beauty contest.

No doubt, I may prefer one candidate who "walks the right walk or talks the right talk." But I recognize how that works.
