Anyhow, I got an email from her today that read:

"hi, just sending a quick email to make sure your day is going ok. D".

I wasn't even expecting to hear from her at all, let alone today. She sooooo wants me. I'm tapping that for sure.

I'm just going to play it cool for now and move in for the kill when the b/f slips up, which he will.

The moral of the story, as "PansyBoy8" put it "just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score!"

Personally I think most of the time the "I have a boyfriend" line is a canned response to boost there ego or make you jealous or whatever inane reason they have for spewing out that bullsh1t.
My personal philosophy in these situations is if there is no ring she is still single. So I would proceed as if she didnt even make the boyfriend comment.

Hey I was in the same situation. This meet this girl at a party we talked and got along great. she asked me for my number and we went to a movie. some time later she tells me she has a bf and we hadn't had sex yet. but i played it cool and told her that is fine but she later came back while still with him (yes I know that is a mistake because I would hate if my gf did that to me) but we hooked up for a while. Anyways, in the beginning it was ahh i have a boyfriend but she gave in.
