I'd like to have more information. I dont see any numbers listed. Is it 600w continuous? How many amps on the +12v rail? What temp was it tested at?

Uhhh... I really don't know about that one.

You'd probably be better off sticking with a more trusted brand of PSU.

What are you powering and what's your budget?

Thanks

I did click the link.

Manufacturer ratings are hard to judge by. "600watts" doesn't really mean much.

How much does that thing cost?

I did. In my opinion there isnt enough info given for me to say its a good buy. If no specs are listed, its generally because the spec are horrible and thus not worth what they want you to pay.

Maybe I'm not getting the right page or something...

One of the more important things would be a spec like this:

"Output +3.3V@30A, +5V@30A, +12V1@14A, +12V2@15A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@2A"

(taken from the info on my PSU 430 seasonic)

Is there a reason you want info on that one specifically?

LUILAX, if you have an expensive system in your case with some nice new parts in it, it would probably be a good idea to invest in a PSU that's better known for quality.

Yeah, it might work just fine though.

I'm getting to the site fine.

Copy and paste the rail ratings if you have them. Even then it's not really an indication of overall quality.

Found the specs of it. Here is an image of its sticker. Its 600 watts MAX so that probably brings it down to 400watts continuous. On top of that it is probably rated at the 25C rating instead of the 55-65 C rating. Cause as most of us know, no power supply can stay as cool as 25C. So in the end you probably have a 300-350 watt PSU

50 amps on the +5 uh....not good unless you're running 5498754987 ide hard drives.

I have one of the cases that outfit sells, and I have tossed the Okia out, replaced with a Super Flower TTGI. The only psu's I have seen that are more cheaply built have been ChiefMax and PowMax. I have an old 1980's era power supply rated at 150 watts that has more inside it than these Okia 450's I keep seeing as freebies in cheap cases.

Incidentally, the top blow holes in Aspire, Broadway, and Rosehill boxes are all placed too far to the rear, such that when you do yank the (shorter than ATX standard) junk psu's to put in something decent, the fans can't be mounted there any more.
