Okia 600 Watts PSU

Since this OKIA is a no good PSU,

what do you think will be a good choice. Here are the parts i have and
ready to build.

Asus p5nd2 SLI deluxe
PQI ddr25400 dual channel 1GB
Hyper 48 CPU cooler
2 x SLi gigabyte nvidia Gforce 6600GT
300GB western Digital SATA HD
LS120 floppy ( I am using my old one from my old PC since 1998?? pls advz if still ok to work with other parts??)
Plextor DVD burner
Tsunami case...

Also... need to know if P4 660 or 650 Socket 775 CPU are good choice?? for this mobo.
Help me on this one..

SLI... yeah... you're looking at 450 watts or so of a quality brand PSU.

Seasonic, OCZ, Antec, Sparkle, Fortron, etc

This is probably going to be $75 or more.

the Fortron 450W is $49.99 and is the best at that price.

so as long as brand name ..from 450 to 600watss wil be fine??


do you think there are 600 watts that are cheap out there that i can use and brand name??

They're out there, but they're not going to be cheap.

why do you even need 600 watts? its like throwing your money away. and wattage is not important. a great 500W or less can easily outperform a cheap 600W anyday and will be far more reliable

if you want sheer power, this Sparkle 550W is the best choice. massive amps on this one and is built very solidly

if you want to get a great psu and save money, this is best Fortron 450W

by the way, i've seen people with similar setups as yours run on 250W Sparkles just fine.

IS it true the heavier the better???

I saw Enermax / Antec /Pc power cooler and Thermaltake heavy and
I opened it, they are beefy inside.

Pls advise..

In general, but it's not like weight in itself has anything to do with it.
I could just attach a big lead plate to some generic POS and it would still be a generic POS, only it would have the potential to pollute the environment a bit more when you throw it away after it blows up.
