Update:
Problem solved. There was a nice PSU with 4 up to date PCIe connectors on sale this week at my favourite parts shop.

Hey all, haven't been around in a while. I'm currently in the process of re-invigorating my beast, but I'm a bit out of the loop on some points of hardware.
I currently have an Antec NeoPower 550W PSU.

I've got a fairly new Core i7-3770K on an Azus Z77 board, but I didn't upgrade my video when I got that CPU. I've got a Radeon 6870 in there at the moment, I upgraded from a 4870 last year and missed the memo that I needed 6900 series to stay in the top bracket. Anyways, I'm waiting to see what AMD has in store for the next gen, but I'm probably going to get a GeForce 770, I'm not sure if I need a new PSU to go with it. The CPU is 77W, my Radeon is around 150W. The GeForce 770 is over 200. I don't have much else in my machine that's drawing a lot of power, so I feel like 550W should still be enough.
But my PSU doesn't offer any 8 pin PCI-e connectors. The radeon 6870 wants 2*6pin which I have. The GeForce 770 wants 6+8pin which I don't have. My PSU has no 8 pin PCI-e for some reason. If I understand correctly 6pin is good for 75W and 8pin is 150W. So 2*6pin isn't enough. But it looks like my power supply should have plenty of juice on the 12V rails, and it claims to be SLI certified somehow.
Should I get a new power supply? Or is this one likely to be alright with some kind of adapter?
I don't even know what good power supplies are these days, any recommendations?
Thanks.
