Old Asus A7V-266 w/ WinXP SP3 - still need 4-in-1?

I have a super old Asus A7V-266 based computer that I just reformatted with WinXP SP3. Do I need to even bother with installing the Via 4-in-1 driver? The system seems to be running fine on its own and all of the devices show up OK in device manager. Just wondering if MS' default drivers will be fine.

I think you should be fine - XP seems to include some version (4.36 from one source), I wouldn't worry about it unless there're stability problems. Certain older drivers are recommended for older systems, I've been using 4.43 with a KT266A/win2k system and it's had 0 problems for years.
