Old cars and what to do with them. (YACT)

This truck has been a decent ride. It has 170,000 miles on it. Recently the air, passenger and rear windows, quick working. I do get some heat, but it is not as good as it used to be. Needs new brakes and uses oil between changes. Should I try to trade it in, sell it out-right or donate it?

Hit a junkyard and fix the windows and blower motor for less then $50 and put new brakes on it for another $50 and sell it. Using oil isn't a big deal unless its a couple quarts between oil changes.

89 isn't old and 170k miles isn't that many.

Sell it on ebay, or part it out on ebay. Send the remains to a scrap yard.

Run it into the ground. Why not? Ain't gonna get nuthin' for it. This is what I'm doing with our '88 E-150. It's a conversion van, with all the bells & whistles, but the AC quit, and it's got tons of rust. It's my current work truck. Hell, I can still haul plenty of crap with it. Throwing brakes shoes on, or other odd parts here and there is no big deal. Run it till the wheels are square!
