We had a shiny new Apple II+ when I was growing up. With a whopping 48K of RAM.

I thought I had an 8088 XT. I thought it was 20 MHz, maybe it was 10? I know it had a 20 MB hard drive, CGA graphics, and a 5 1/4" floppy drive, and sucked balls in every way you can imagine.

I still have my C-64. My parents went all out and got me the 1541 floppy drive with it. That thing is responsible for my entire career.

IBM PC 8088
Amiga 500
Amiga 2000

Then when I just could not find new software, especially games, for the Amiga anymore, I bought a Pentium 66mhz post FDIV bug. Still kept the Amiga running a couple years after that.

Wow, I didn't realize I was in the "old farts" category.

I had a timex sinclair 1st though.

Well, my parents owned these items, I just used them.

Elite was so cool- best space simulator for quite a while. Kind of laid the groundwork for games like Wing Commander and X-Wing.

Yep Commodore 64 here. Still got it. However the monitors I had for it finally died.

For all you guys with Commodores but no working monitors, the Commodore monitor cable actually breaks out into S-Video signals. I have a working Commodore monitor but didn't want it taking up space, so I built an adapter cable to go from the Commodore monitor cable to S-Video on my plasma. Works flawlessly!

The household had an Apple IIe, and a televideo 8086. I will always remember my dad bringing home the hard drive his work gave him for the 8086. It was an external 20 meg MFM drive and he said "Son, we will NEVER fill this thing up."

My first computer was a TI 99/4A with a cassette player.

Next was a Commodore 64 with a datasette (tape), little later got a floppy drive (Enhancer 2000, a 1541 clone, much smaller though)

When my house was burgled and my Mattel Intellivision stolen, I took the insurance money and bought an Atari 400. Thus began about a ten year love of all Atari computers.

A few years ago I cleaned out my massive pile of old Atari and Dreamcast stuff from the basement. It took two trips to the dump.
