To get AA to work with Bioshock you need to download new Nvidia's beta drivers to force it. Worked well for me. I think in XP but not Vista. With Vista 64 & nVidia beta drivers I can't see a difference enabling AA in the control panel. The first link says AA can be enabled in XP but says he hasn't tested Vista yet. The second says in Vista you have to disable DX10 to get it:

Both links lead me to believe it's Vista/DX10 related. Why did I grab Vista when it first came out? Oh yea, something called DX10, supposed to blow my socks off...
