I don?t understand something with steam. Do you get a hard copy ever in the mail? Why isn?t there a discount when they are saving a crap load on making the physical boxed game, and distribution? I bet this game will be for sale at fry?s for 39.99 the day after it comes out.

Just don't see why they charge the same amount when they are going to save so much by it being downloaded, it just seems wrong. Im fine with the ideal of just downloading it, I just want to see the savings passed down to us.

There are still costs involved with distributing digitally. Probably not as much as retail but I'd think it is somewhat substantial when you take into consideration the space, bandwidth costs, and distribution rights. I have no idea how big the difference might be though.

I've never bought from steam but would you at least save on tax? Do they still charge it? I'd consider buy this if only I had a 8800 series card. I just think my 7900GT is gonna choke even near the settings I like to play at.

The fact is, Bioshock, whether on PC or 360, looks good. To start arguments about AA/AF/etc. and looking closely to find those features is rather pointless. If it looks good to someone, it looks good. We don't need anyone to come over and tell us "No it sucks because this/that/etc." Doubtless that Bioshock on 360 will look good enough and perhaps better for anyone interested in the gameplay. Those with powerful PC setups will, of course, be lucky enough to get slightly better looking games in one form or another.

I want to play a PC demo first. It looked very cool on the 360 but FPSs just aren't the same compared to a good PC rig.

Honestly, people who have trouble with vista should upgrade their hardware or update their drivers. Vista is fine imo.
In fact, I find it more stable and faster than XP, but thats just me I guess.
