Old PC game. Can't remember the name.

I remember there was a Doom-style game back in the early 90's in which you went through maze-like passages killing giant eyes. Yes, eyes with legs and guns trying to kill you. The eyes looked kind of like the little guy from Monsters Inc. What's the name of that game? I remember it clearly because it was the first 3D game I played ever. Anyone know?

It's none of the above, although the walls were similar to the ones in T9D's first picture above.

Ken's Labyrinth

These games had some really weird stuff in them.

This was the best game for its time, I spent a lot of hours on the PC playing quake 3 arena. That is where my world of Pc's came about. God I miss that game I wish I still had it and they still supported it so I can play it online.

That is where I came up with my name " Rocketdogg " which I still use today for Call Of Duty Black Ops.

Quake 3 was released December '99.
I know that Quake III arena is not an "early 90's" game, but the description seems to fit. Since the OP does not remember the name of the game, I thought that there is the possibility that he also wrongly remembers the exact time period.

Nah.. nothing yet. I just remembered that it might be a game demo. Maybe it was not even released commercially as a game. It was definitely between 1992-1995.

+1 I was hardcore into that thing. That was the game that would keep me up til 3 in the morning and I'd still go to bed thinking about it. Because of the 125FPS physics glitch I would hack my CRT monitor's drivers to allow for 125Hz refresh to align perfectly with the glitch. I played best with a 17" monitor, going to 19" actually made my reaction time slower because of more real estate to scan with my eyes. I've also noticed this with Halo 4 which I'm currently addicted to. On a 50" TV it takes a lot more time (mostly cuz I sit so close) to scan versus my 27" monitor, not to mention the input lag.

Good news is Q3 still lives for free in Quake Live.

I know back when I played it I had an old Voodoo 4 with like 32 or 64mb of ram. The graphics looked amazing at least that is what I thought at that time.

Actually I logged in and played a few games yesterday after work. It almost made me cry. Lol. I missed that game so much, and Quake Live has brought it back.

I find it hilarious that there are actually numerous games that fit the original description.
