been playing LoL for awhile now (and also reading this thread) and finally decided to post in here.

My LoL name is: Ashakar

Right now my favorite character to play is Sion. I probably had one of my best games with him last night before I called it quits for the day. I had so much money, I didn't know what to spend it on, so I ended up selling my boots and buying a trinity force. Which I know ended up helping me get a triple kill at the end of the game, when 3 of them initiated on to me by myself after I killed thier red lizard. My Amumu joined in after like 15 seconds, so I can't take all the credit, but still its hard to kill Sion when he's got over 4k hp and 150+ armor/MR. I ended that game 15/4, so I was happy. The only other character I've pulled off a triple kill or better with is Karthas.

Well, I only play tanks (Galio, Nasus) and Katarina, but I've pulled quads and aces with her. 2 Aces, several quads. Being able to shunpo them as they run behind their turrets is invaluable, and Kat with Rylai's is very difficult to run away from.

For me...
Quads: Xin, Amumu, Miss Fortune, and Annie
Penta: Xin

That's it so far. Only had two penta's so far though. It only happened when I maxed out my items with baron buff, red buff, and blue buff. I basically charged solo into the other team base and got them to all try and kill me. Oh, the other team didn't have much CC when I did the penta kills either. Basically ulted the entire team twice really fast. With 2.5 attack speed, Xins War Cry ability to reduce cooldowns by second per every attack he makes, and some cooldown reduction items/runes; I was able to use his Ult every 10 seconds or so. That's 40% of the total health of everyone I hit with the ult + 750 damage + AD x 2. That is in conjunction with madreds doing 4% per hit, roughly 290 AD, and 60% crit rate. Basically insane damage. No one else in the game can do that much damage that fast. But to get pentakills with Xin you have to get them all herded together somehow.

Prior to that triple kill with Sion, I've only gotten a few triples, a quad and a pentakill with Karthus. Its almost impossible to finish a game being karthus and not have at least 10 kills and like 30 assists. One of these days I'll break down and buy him instead of only playing him on the free weeks.

BTW what post actually has the list of all the players names? I tried finding it the other day, but got tired of trying to scroll through all 1300 or so posts.

I think I've only gotten one quad, with Yi. It would have been a penta but the 5th guy was in another lane

I've gotten triple kills a few times, my favorite one was with Gragas when I walked into a team fight that was going bad and ulted, my barrel killed 3 instantly. No longer bad.

FYI ACE and penta-kills are nto the same thing. Ace means you killed the last living player on the other team. Penta-kill means you killed all 5 members of the other team in a minimal time period.

mord is a good tank/carry. he doesn't do all that much damage by himself unless you build him for AP, but if you kill someone with his ult, instantly you can push a tower no problem or pwn the other team in a teamfight.

Morde is very easy to play and learn to and is an amazing champ. I don't know what he costs but he's a solid recommendation from me. He can carry when he gets too strong, meaning say, you kill everyone but him, but your entire team is weakened. He can then roll through.

If your team also has an anti carry like poppy/trydn, you guys can FF that carry down, have morde ult them, and his ult will rip you to shreds.

I used to play Sivir in ranked back when shaco was still godly. She has been SUPER buffed now (spell shield reduction) and does crazy damage with boomerang blade.

She's always had the highest base damage nuke, and now, it can hit hard as fuck.

I did notice that even though you gain additional damage from attack damage, the damage itself is magical, at least thats what the tooltip says. I don't know if it just wasn't updated or what.

I have this crazy ass theorycraft idea where even though you get attack damage items, you get MPen runes.

Runes = Mpen / mana regen / CD reduction / possibly HP or more MPen quints

Items = normal attack damage items, i.e. Bloodthirster and Madreds, EXCEPT for boots. Sorc Boots for the additional MPen.


Any thoughts? Normally, I'm not the type to theorycraft, I'm good at emulating others in what works well, especially in starcraft.

Tried out a couple of other champs tonight. Sivir is a rather boring hero, but she can sure clear out a wave quick. Played some more fiddle sticks and got the hang of him, did pretty good both games and won both. Found myself harassing vlad for once. Got a pretty good selection of champs unlocked for a variety of roles. Even though other tanks might be better, the tank I play best as is Gragas. I just suck at anything else. I actually do good usually solo queued with Amumu, but never in arranged.

mord's 3150 IP. i've been having a lot of fun with nasus. you can still build him as a tank, but he has good support spells and can do a good bit of damage on his own, too.

last night i played against a pretty sick poppy. she was impossible to kill and just wrecked our whole team. i'd say she's the hardest anti-carry i've played against.

Well you could always just get sorc shoes or hunter guise for the magic pen. Seems like almost nobody gets MR and I pretty handily take down champs, even tanks, because of it. Her boomerang does hit like a Steeler's defensive lineman. Imagine if it critted like some other nukers.

Thanks to Coral Reef Malphite my friend started playing him, his ult makes for some pretty mean ganks as a jungler.

Also screwing around in the tutorial made me want to finally try Garen sometime.

And I wish they'd either slow down on the champ releases or lay off on the carries at least. Tank and support selection are still pretty limited.

I want to learn to skill build for malphite, as I understand he's a lot better now with the multiple improvements.

I saw a guy kill dragon at level 4 with malphite... I wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, but he kept doing the E slam.

I've played Malphite twice since his buff with good results. I've never tried jungling him however. It seems like both 'w' (AOE to your autoattack passive and +dmg + armor when active) and 'e' (slam with +dmg based on armor) are good jungle skills. Let me know if you figure this out though I assume that running a tank page with +armor runes and spamming 'e' would destroy the jungle creeps quite easily.

Getting first blood at lvl 2 against vlad in mid is quite satisfying. Also while he can straight up own someone 1vs1, in a team fight it gets real ugly. I notice people trying to focus but I kill their guy faster than they kill me, and the rest of them are not feeling too good either.

ahh good ol RWEQFD (F= ignite, D = Flash). Just hit em as fast as possible and retreat. I'm curious how you're getting first blood at level 2 unless your opponent really sucks though.


I've got to run through all the keybinding options, I was wondering is there a way to set it up so that when you press the button it automatically targets wherever your cursor is (ala Karthus' q) rather than having to go R > w > left click > e > left click > etc.

Finally found a champ I can play in 3vs3. Just played as Taric with a pantheon and ashe. The other team had Xin, Ashe, and Kokmaw. Thought we would be hosed by their DPS, I never played Taric before. I stomped Xin. Then I stomped Kok. Then I stomped them both at the same time. Then I took on all 3 of them. I only died once. Heals, armor aura, and stun make him pretty handy in 3vs3. I think if you put him with a shen and xin, that would make a great team. I played shen for first time today too and carried a team. An 0/9 ashe said I was dumb for getting a phantom dancer when I was like 8/4/8.

Oh yeah and Jihad Fiddle > You. Best suicide bomber in the game. Was thinking of maybe throwing on some armor so he can last longer. Love people calling me feeder when I have most kills on the team.
