The amassed amount of old-timers has me floored! I almost teared up when I saw the FIC PA-2007 mobo link - I remember back when I had one.. I was the MAN!

Russ - I still thank you for backing me up many many moons ago...

This whole think makes me happy that I still stick it out, n00bs be damned.

And of course, I still have naughty thoughts about Hzl.

That's not right! C'mon mods... you start jamming things down our throats and then when we gag and get PO'ed, you ban us! Is this REALLY the sort of moderation and governing that AnandTech has historically been know for?

You should really rethink your banning of SuperSix.... she, like I take personal ownership of this place because WE LOVE IT! When we see something wrong or think a bad decision has been made, we react because we CARE ABOUT THIS PLACE! If you really want to get rid of the people that care the most... to take the people who have spent YEARS on this board and make them feel unwelcome.... well... I don't want to think about the mess you'll have on your hands around here if the people who care the most leave.

Bring SuperSix her back, please.

Where's Nutdotnet? GL? Many more I may have forgotten.

I'm pretty sure I count - especially since I had a nick before "pm" that I can't even remember.

I remember that I joined - with some computer question that I can't remember - under another nickname. Then a month or two later, I got into some flamewar in GH over something in the Pentium architecture - which I had actually worked on. And when the guy told me I was wrong about something that I actually worked on - I contemplated saying "you idiot, of course I'm right.! I worked on the darn thing for 18 months! You, sir, are so way wrong that it's not even funny." and then I realized that a bunch of my posts to that point - with this nick that I can't remember - were not exactly something that I wanted to be associated with my name at work.

And thus "pm" was born - along with a promise to myself to never lose my temper in a post. A promise that I believe I managed to keep through a whole lot of flamewars.

i still remember that you helped me out and gave me good guidance a couple times. Is your old accord with 400K+ miles still ticking?

I still wonder what happened to Airman.
He ran up 100+ Heatwares and then decided to to screw all the nooBs.
We outkasted him over at AGN and then he went to AT and screwed people there too.

Funny,in all the trading we did over there you and I never managed to do a trade with each other, we always were after the same stuff

Yeah... Compuwiz1 was the tested CPU sellin' man! But the specific CPU just mentioned was the 366, as there was no C-350. Of course with the C-366, one could argue that Intel made a C-550 but just never marketed it!

Yeah, I remember that. And then I tried to sell 1000MHz Athlon's that were pretested at 1333MHz and both Compuwiz and I were told that we couldn't do it anymore.

Around the same time as "no more coupon codes."

It may be. I like to think it may be. I gave it away to charity and took the write-off about 3 years ago. I bought a new Civic EX which I love.

I sometimes see an ancient-looking Honda Accord Lxi drive by and I look to see the scratch in the bumper to see if it's our old one.
