Hey, same here! I remember the tobacco was grown and sold by some Indian tribe or something and there was a comment on their website about how they were stronger than the more commonly known brands. I could just imagine Russ thinking about the money he was saving every time he coughed.

I didn't register until after the crash, but I think I qualify as one of the few female old-timers. I was kind of shy about entering into any of the debates at first because they could be so intense, but once I did I got into some very enjoyable ones. If enjoyable is the correct term for it. The only problem back then was that I was constantly being addressed as a guy even though I have my name in my signature. I guess it was just because there were so few of us at the time.

Edit: P.S. It's great to see so many familiar names here of people who were so helpful, entertaining, and enlightening. It's even nice to see the few I had some heated debates with at times.

Hey, I remember you, Montanafan! Alexandra is a name that I'm considering if Tim and I ever have a girl. (His middle name is Alexander.) I'm thinking of Alexandra for either the first OR middle name.

I get Alex most often, but also; Alley, Al, and one I really dislike, Xandra. It makes me feel like I should be teamed up with Xena Princess Warrior or something. I've been enjoying your stories in the Bad Bosses thread. I thought I'd worked for some real winners, but the guy with the bulldozer and the boy scouts takes the prize. You must have the patience of a saint to be able to put up with someone like that.

It's really nice to see that you're still here.

Thank you. I've thought about the nicknames thing. I never had a whole lot of nicknames (Heath being just about the only one. Well, my friend's brother just started calling me furball one day when I was about 14 and that stuck. lol) so I think a name that can be shortened is kind of cool. Lexy is another that can be used with Alexandra. I'm not sure. I looooove the name Zoe, but Tim isn't too into that. *Pout* lol

Personally I think that most of us ole Timers went and got a life (not that we didn't have one) but with age comes Biz, marriage, kids, and other adventures...not necessarily in that order
