My old Moto G5 (relegated to a running / music / work phone) did an odd thing today: I noticed that it had 6% battery left and as I was just heading out to a customer, I plugged it into charge in my car and it said it was rapid-charging. About 20-30 minutes later I arrived and unplugged the phone, at 15%. An hour later I left the customer, plugged it back into charge and about a minute later I checked the charge level and it reckoned it was at 21%.
AFAIK it's not a typical dodgy battery symptom, but have people here seen dodgy batteries do that before? I'm always keeping half an eye on this phone, ready to replace it if it starts acting screwy, but I would rather not unless I'm sure.
